My friends & neighbors think that I’m a professional poker player. My poker industry friends & colleagues think that I’m a recreational poker player. My family thinks that I’m a businessman who likes to play poker. Me? I think I’m just having a major mid-life identity crisis!

I'm really looking fwd to having @CMONEYMAKER with us at the inaugural @CardsAndClubs Invitational. The field is coming together well & there's no doubt that Chris will raise the excitement & experience across all areas with his involvement!

The Bear Trap is one of the most iconic 3-hole stretches in golf. I love that attendees of the first @CardsAndClubs get to take it on with an extra challenge. As we build the inaugural field, we’re having great convos with brands across gaming, tech, finance, travel & sports!

I’ve been working on this quietly for a while, so it’s pretty cool to finally have the @CardsAndClubs Invitational out publicly. A big part of why I wanted to build it is the connection between golf and poker. They have a lot more in common than people might think. Patience, strategy, decision-making, risk management, confidence and composure under pressure all matter in both. We’re building an experience around golf, poker, hospitality, relationships and content, with the goal of bringing together people and organizations that may not otherwise spend meaningful time together. But just as important, both create the kind of environment where people have time to compete, talk, laugh and actually get to know each other. That’s really where I see the value in CCI for brands. We’re now growing the inaugural field. A few invitations are already out, a couple of Founding Teams are committed, and we’re having some really interesting conversations about who else will be part of the first one.
