Going to be thinking about this all night.
Cade postered him earlier in the game, and he still jumps the next time.

Jrue Holiday changed the Celtics from a good team to ‘ruining the league’ level Warriors.
And just like gsw you’re focused on wrong thing that makes that team look unbeatable. It’s the ball movement/IQ not the 3s

One of my mid-30s tips to the younger crowd is always go to concerts.
I’ve never regretted going to concerts and it’s always been a good “memory maker”.
Up there with travel but way more cost effective.

Great piece by Tom. Hopefully, the cap going up 10% each year starting in 2025, and in 2 years, Al being retired/KP being off the books, buys them a little time/wiggle room to give it 1 more go

This is an INSANE defensive play from White. All playoffs this pass from Luka to Kyrie was a bucket for Kyrie. The fact White was able to keep Kyrie in front here is crazy.

Here's LeBron James talking about Joe Mazzulla in the latest "Mind The Game" podcast.

Mazzulla ethering Jayson v Jaylen "The whole thing that really pisses me off is that it's really unfair to both of them. I think it's stupid that people have to use those two guys' names and use information that they don't know so they can create clickbait so that they can stay relevant. It's really unfair that those two get compared. They're two completely different people, two completely different players. They're great teammates, they love each other. They go about winning and they go about their process in a different way. So why they have to always be lumped together, I think is unfair and people just use it for their own relativity. At the end of the day, those two guys, their relationship is their relationship. They love each other, they push each other every single day in practice. They communicate with each other, but they go about winning differently. I think they both get an unfair, what's the word, being compared to each other. They're different and you see other duos around the league don't have to go through that and it's because of the platform they have. It's because they've been so successful their entire careers. They've been handling longstanding success at a high, high level and so people need them in order to stay relevant. They should not talk on speculation. They should get to know them as people before they talk about that. They're two of the greatest teammates and players that you could have and it's been an honor to coach both of them. It doesn't mean they have to be the same. So it's bullshit. I love both of them and they deserve better."

2) If the best Finals narrative you can generate as a national member of the media is "Jayson vs. Jaylen" in the Year of our Lord 2024, that's pretty embarrassing.

Question was: You talk about things like humility. That's not the usual type of thing that we hear from a coach or maybe even the players hear from a coach. What's that process been like getting these guys to kind of buy into that mindset and get away from some of the things that that have bugged them in the past and to stay present? Things like "success looks different every day" and having the humility to maybe take a step back even if you are you used to being a certain kind of player.
Mazzulla in full (Q: @John_Karalis): "I think that's the real answer to what everybody asked all year about, oh, what's the difference between this year and last year ... the difference is we've had time and experiences to pull from, and we've had time to talk about those. We've had time to talk about how we want to go about what our daily process is. We've had time to talk about how we want to handle situations. We've had time to talk about how we've handled past situations. So I think that's it right there. Throughout the offseason and throughout the season, we've had time to build a relationship together, to have open and honest communication about how we want to go about doing things and how you should handle different situations and experiences. The words that you use end up reflecting the type of group that you have or the type of group you want to emulate ... how we handle successes and failures together."
