Why don't you go down to the park and fall in love with someone who will love and cherish you back
"Male-gaze" nowadays seems to mean "anything woman-shaped on screen that a man could conceptually jerk off to".
Even if we accepted it as "male-gaze-y", it'd be so far down the spectrum of relevant examples that it barely qualifies.
I feel like this is equivalent to closing your eyes during a movie and complaining that it doesn't pause? Like, on some level this is just refusing to meet the game on its own terms, no? It ultimately amounts to "it should have been X" rather than "why is X like this?"
Poop and food are the two most obvious themes I encourage budding game designers to avoid at all costs because it's the first and second thing everyone always thinks of as their first game idea.

"Quidditch never caught on due to their preference for flying carpets" hold up fellas, let her cook, this might be worth, like, a weekend of transphobia after all these years.
"Anti-Zionism isn't Antisemitism" is true, but not the same as "Anti-Zionism can't be Antisemitism". They aren't mutually exclusive, and too many people use it like a magic spell to absolve them of bad advocacy.
This is the kind of "useful idiot" behavior these people lament Liberals for doing.
It's a perfect example of when intent and content are misaligned; Cenk obviously isn't a fan of white supremacists, but the writing is indistinguishable from a white supremacist.

It is intensely weird that when Fuentes says white Christians should look out for themselves and maybe create an ethnostate, that is looked upon with intense derision, but when Israel says the same thing about a Jewish state it is met with thunderous applause.
It's why I advocate so hard for people to examine themselves in a 3rd person context. Notice how many assumptions she makes about the couple in their brief interaction; they're Jewish, Zionist, they know she's Palestinian/Muslim, they intentionally asked her maliciously, etc...

Podcast hosts: never forget to ask your silly joke questions, like "should there be a Polymarket-for-kids inside Roblox?" You never know when you'll get a sincere, enthusiastic yes.

Can't say I didn't expect the replies I got. I don't even necessarily disagree with the underlying sentiments, despite what some of them think they read from my post.
It feels like people really want to go back to the imagined simpler morality of WW2.

I dunno man, I get it, snappy/quippy Twitter dunks, sure, but it's at the very least not a good look to say "more should have died" regardless of side, especially at the end of a war/ceasefire. Makes it seem like it's more important to you that people die than for it to stop.
