๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ The EU is introducing a โ‚ฌ10,000 cash payment limit in 2027. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Switzerland has no such general limit. Reminds me of an old Swiss joke ๐Ÿ˜‚ A German walks into a Swiss bank and whispers: โ€œIโ€™d like to withdraw โ‚ฌ10,000.โ€ The Swiss banker replies loudly: โ€œSir, no need to whisper. Poverty is nothing to be ashamed of in Switzerland.โ€ ๐Ÿ’€

My sincere condolences to Adam's (@RetentionAdam) family and friends. He was a massive inspiration for founders, bootstrapers, and for building one of the first autonomous businesses. You will be missed.

That would be great.
๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Britain is considering cutting university fees for EU students. Some pay more than ยฃ30,000 a year, while British students in England pay just over ยฃ9,000, and the proposal would put EU students on the British rate. In return, Britain wants its businesses let into the EUโ€™s planned โ€œMade in Europeโ€ programme, which would favour European-made cars, steel and clean energy products. The government could give universities up to ยฃ450 million a year to cover lost income, though Treasury sources say the final bill could be much lower. The Russell Group, which represents 24 leading universities, puts the cost above ยฃ500 million. Nothing is agreed yet, with a UK-EU summit set for November 20. British graduates still paying off their own loans might have thoughts. Source: Philenews / Writer: Daniyal

Attacks will accelerate from here on - We are there: Six months ago I said Mythos like capability will be widely available. It's happening. A critical vulnerability, a social engineering attack that looks innocuous, or daisy chaining publicly available vulnerabilities and conducting a sniper strike is all being witnessed in the wild. Incident responders have never been busier. Some key points: - attacks are not becoming more sophisticated, it's the same attacks, faster and by a lot more people. - attack path discovery which took trial and error and multiple attempts is now trivial, open source LLMs are here to help - you are as secure as your supply chain, insecure down or upstream players who have access to your infrastructure could be the next attack path, marketplaces and supply chain is an easier vector The increase in activity is a result of more people becoming better at hacking due to the ease of being able to attack. Had not contemplated that in my calculus. Please: 1. Test your infrastructure for accessible vulnerabilities and misconfigurations 2. Fix your code and demand your vendors do. 3. Old infra, or insecure infra at the perimeter needs to be updated first 4. New AI tools, especially coding need a security framework. Your developers will do more with code, new skills, and more automation. Don't forget the coding models have trained on human code. Stay safe this Halloween :)

Which startups are most likely to get an investment from top tier VCs? I looked at ~60 attributes across 5000 startups and these were the 15 strongest. #1 is being from a top tier fund. MBA is a negative signal Full list of signals below:

I built an AI workflow that forwards every email I get straight to WhatsApp, with the sender, subject and context. I can even reply to it from there. I havenโ€™t missed an email since. It honestly changed my life.
