Social media has made it look like everybody is succeeding except you. 😭
Someone your age just bought a house. Another person is buying their second car. Someone else is getting married, travelling abroad or making millions from their business.
Meanwhile, you are still trying to figure out your life, and suddenly, you feel like you are doing something wrong.
The funny thing is that some people will borrow money to maintain an image online. Others will rush into marriage, business or unnecessary spending because they don't want to look like failures among their mates.
Omo, who are we competing with?
Must everybody own a house before 30? Must everybody travel abroad, drive a Benz or become a millionaire before we can say they are doing well?
The pressure to succeed is so much that people can no longer enjoy the little progress they make. You get a job, but because your mate just bought a house, your achievement suddenly feels small.
At this rate, are we actually trying to build good lives for ourselves, or are we just trying to prove to people on social media that we haven't failed?

Heartbreak is painful
Don’t let anyone convince you that there are no good marriages. They exist, and there are plenty of them. We just don’t get to see enough of them on social media.
Sadly, it’s often the troubled marriages and messy breakups that make it online and spread like wildfire, creating the impression that marriage is nothing but stress and suffering.
Does marriage require dedication, patience, and commitment? Absolutely.
But it’s not as difficult or miserable as some people make it seem.
Some of our parents have been married for decades. We see them, we witness their love, and we know that genuine love still exists.
May you find a love that gives you peace, and may your marriage be beautiful, fulfilling, and successful. 🙏

Most emotional pain grows when ignored repeatedly. Unspoken feelings do not disappear, they settle deeper❤️🩹

If you're above 40 in this day and age, with no chronic illness and not taking any daily medication, you may not fully understand what God has done for you. 🙏❤️
I am grateful for health.

Before lending money to someone, give them a good hug. Because after that, you might not see them again, not even by chance.
Lip blushing gone wrong.🤯🤯
I thought it was a prank at first but it’s not. She’s still healing.
How do you go out with normal lips and come back home with this?
I really feel for her.
How will she pronounce BOOM now? 🤣🤣🤣

Just renewed my X subscription, and honestly, I see it as an investment, not a waste of money.
The results I want may not have come yet, but that doesn't mean my efforts are wasted.
I'll keep learning, keep showing up, keep improving and keep pushing.
One day, I'll look back at this phase of my journey and be glad I didn't give up.
It seems the super El Niño heat is affecting mosquitoes too.
I usually flit my room at least twice a week, but it’s been over a week since I last did, and I haven’t seen a single mosquito in the house. I’ve also noticed a significant decrease in the number of ants.
