Felt good being back at the rink today, even if only for an hour.
Won't be in Utica tomorrow, but planning to go to Hershey for Sunday's game. @InsideAHLHockey
Justin Brazeau is here with #WBSPens this morning, for those wondering.
So is the recently reassigned Avery Hayes & Chase Pietila. @InsideAHLHockey
Catching #WBSPens final skate before they head out to Utica.
#StayTuned @InsideAHLHockey for the latest.
The #Pens announce forward Justin Brazeau is joining #WBSPens on a conditioning loan.
They also have assigned RW Avery Hayes & RHD Chase Pietila to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. @InsideAHLHockey
Several reporters at #Pens practice today indicate Avery Hayes & Rutger McGroarty are absent.
Would make sense with some players coming back into the lineup in Pittsburgh that those two are the odd men out and on their way back to #WBSPens.
@InsideAHLHockey
The #WBSPens loaned forward Tiernan Shoudy back to ECHL-Florida, perhaps signaling one will be coming down from #Pens before their next game Friday in Utica.

*Leaves Friday's credential request for Utica in drafts*
Sheldon Keefe says it’s Hellebuyck’s intention to play on this upcoming #NJDevils road trip, but there are several boxes they’ll need to tick before officially making that call.
Anaheim assigned RW Cruz Lucius from AHL-San Diego to ECHL-Tulsa today.
Lucius was acquired by #Pens in the Jake Guentzel trade, but opted not to sign with Pittsburgh.
PIT traded his rights to Anaheim in August, and he signed a 2-year ELC the following day. @InsideAHLHockey
James Reimer has been released from his PTO with AHL-Hartford.
Perhaps signaling he will be signing a one-year deal with #NYR in short order here.
The 38-year-old goalie pitched a 35-save shutout on Friday night. @InsideAHLHockey
I don't know if I caught a flu bug or what, but have felt progressively worse as today has continued.
Unfortunately, I have to back off covering tonight's #WBSPens game.
Sorry about that.
The update I got from #WBSPens HC Kirk MacDonald last night on forward Tanner Howe was not promising.
Details @InsideAHLHockey.

"They say luck is.. preparation meets opportunity? We didn't prepare. Didn't give ourselves an opportunity. Simple as that"
#WBSPens HC Kirk MacDonald didn't shy away from telling it like it was after Friday's 7-3 loss to Belleville.

ICYMI here last night, I confirmed Avery Hayes will be joining #Pens ⤵️
Kirk MacDonald confirmed to @InsideAHLHockey post-game tonight that Avery Hayes is indeed getting the call up to #Pens.
That was a long night.
Thanks to all those tuning in and supporting original journalism at its source @InsideAHLHockey.
Penguins are back at it here tomorrow night against Hartford. ✌️
Kirk MacDonald confirmed to @InsideAHLHockey post-game tonight that Avery Hayes is indeed getting the call up to #Pens.
Full interview coming @InsideAHLHockey, but #WBSPens HC Kirk MacDonald did NOT sugarcoat his teams 7-3 loss to Belleville with his post-game thoughts.
Posting tonight's game story @InsideAHLHockey now before I head downstairs for what I'm sure will be riveting post-game analysis from the locker room.
Will add post-game thoughts for our subscribers! #StayTuned
