I have a question. Is the milk processing plant still operating that poisoned thousands of gallons of milk with sanitizer? ?What were the consequences for that facility?? I hope they are closed & have to get re-licensed, not likely!

Wisconsin DNR just asked Enbridge to halt Line 5 Bad River reroute work until the Saxon NGL release is cleaned up and they can show they will not keep spilling on every job.
Sec. Karen Hyun’s Aug 27 letter (after an Aug 26 call) says the agency is “deeply concerned” and “immensely frustrated” by recent noncompliance. It wants the reroute paused and 20+ questions answered: volume, vapor/air modeling, groundwater, evacuation radius, PHMSA/EPA briefings, tribal/GLIFWC outreach. Gov. Evers backed it and wants answers “expeditiously.”
Line 5 is still shut after the Aug 25 Saxon valve strike. Enbridge’s return-to-service window is still Aug 31–Sep 5 from their Aug 26 update. Volume still unpublished. Air monitoring still showing no hazardous levels off-site.

There’s a few things that make me a little more positive cattle at the moment. 1) cash feeders were stronger than normal yesterday. 2) you’re starting to see fat cattle shipped to Kansas. 3), Saturday kills are happening. 4) mkt has been pretty much straight down.

A major part of Ontario's energy supply just got shut down.
According to Enbridge, a parked and unoccupied semi-truck rolled into an excavation site on the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline in Iron County, Wisconsin, triggering a massive natural gas leak and forcing a shutdown of Line 5.
Line 5 is a critical energy highway for Southern Ontario, supplying over 500,000 barrels of crude and natural gas liquids every single day.
