Bengals media sent me the video that was used at Paycore for the 2023 Fan Of The Year announcement today, which played on the jumbotron. Thought I would share it with those who did not get to see it. Special thanks to Elizabeth, Bengal Jim, Sara Pfirrman, and Jess Obert for such kind words. Much love to everyone! yesterday was a blessing, a reminder, and one of those days that words simply cannot fully capture. Our day trip to Normandy was so much more than sightseeing. It was an opportunity to reflect, to honor, and to pay tribute to the brave men who fought on the very hallowed ground where we stood.
Movies, documentaries, and books do an incredible job of telling the story and helping us understand the sacrifices that were made. But standing there in person is something entirely different. The weight of history, the courage, the loss, and the sacrifice are felt in a way that is impossible to describe.
It was truly a sobering and humbling experience. A heartfelt salute to all who fought there and to the countless heroes whose sacrifices secured the freedoms we enjoy today. We will never forget. πΊπΈπ«π· #DdayHistory #omahabeach #Respect @BrooksyCarrie68

What a day in Paris! π«π·β€οΈ
Today was one of those days we'll never forget. We spent hours wandering through the Louvre, standing face-to-face with masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Delacroix, David, Veronese, Ingres, and so many others. Seeing iconic sculptures like the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo in person was simply breathtaking.
From there, we took in the beauty and history of Notre-Dame, Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais, the Flame of Liberty, and the Arc de Triomphe. We wrapped up the day beneath the Eiffel Tower, soaking in the magic of Paris as the city came alive around us.
Art, history, architecture, and memories shared together. What a day. What a city. What an adventure. #makingmemoriestogether #historymatters #expierances #paris #RoadToMadrid
We made it to Paris via train! On this trip, we've traveled by car, plane, train, boat, and even our own two feet. After getting settled in, we enjoyed a dinner cruise on the Seine River, where we took in some of Paris's most iconic sights, including the Eiffel Tower, Pont Alexandre III, the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Statue of Liberty. ..It was a great start to our visit to Paris and an unforgettable way to experience the City of Light. The adventure continues tomorrow, and we can't wait to see where our next set of footsteps takes us! #paris #makingmemoriestogether #AllAboutTheExperiences #WhoDey #TonyDaTiger
Amsterdam really tried to take us out today.
We started by going to the train station to catch a bus. That's right. A train station. For a bus. Travel experts, clearly.
Then it was off to Marken to watch traditional clog-making. Watching someone turn a block of wood into footwear was impressive. Watching me walk in them would have been even more entertaining.
Next came a Heineken in the oldest tavern in northern Amsterdam, because when in Holland, you hydrate responsibly with local beverages.
A boat ride carried us to Volendam, where we learned about cheese-making and sampled enough cheese to temporarily qualify as a dairy product. We also had amazing fish and chips before trying a "robust" beer. The beer was robust. My appreciation for it was not.
From there it was shopping, windmills in Zaandam, dinner, and then on to Amsterdam's famous Red Light District. Let's just say there was some very interesting window shopping going on, and I'll leave it at that. We also checked out the Sex Museum, which was equal parts history lesson, head-scratcher, and "well, that's something you don't see every day."
After that, we somehow turned the walk back to the hotel into a full-fledged bar crawl. I'm pretty sure every stop started with, "Just one quick drink," which, as everyone knows, is one of the biggest lies told on vacation.
Now it's bedtime because tomorrow we leave Amsterdam and head to Paris, where we'll undoubtedly attempt another 18-hour day fueled by caffeine, curiosity, and poor decision-making regarding walking distances, only 23000 steps.
Current status: Feet exhausted. Camera full. Liver slightly concerned. Memories absolutely worth it. π³π±π»β‘οΈπ«π·ππ·@BrooksyCarrie68
48 hours, only 4 hours of sleep... and somehow still packed in Amsterdam sightseeing, shopping, the Anne Frank House, Hard Rock CafΓ©, and an evening canal cruise. What an incredible day! Now it's finally time for some much-needed sleep. π΄π³π± Carrie Brooks #memoriesforlife #lifeexperiences #Amsterdam

This milestone isn't really about the number. It's about everything that came with it. This year, I wore jersey numbers that matched the number of games I'd attended, and it made me reflect on all the memories, experiences, and people I've encountered along the way.
As I pulled on those throwback jerseys, I thought about how much has changed. The outfits have evolved, friends have come and gone, and sadly, we've lost some incredible people along the journey. Through all those years, however, one thing has never changed.
I had a custom #100 jersey made for today, but when the time came, I just couldn't wear it. It didn't feel right.
Because if there's one constant, one common denominator behind every game, every road trip, every memory, and every milestone, it's Carrie, better known as Brooksy. She has been my biggest supporter, my encourager, my travel partner, and the person who has been there through it all.
That's why I felt the number 100 should start with her. She is the "1" in 100. She's my #1 fan, just as I'm hers.
Thank you, Brooksy. This incredible ride only happened because of you, and there is nobody I'd rather celebrate this milestone with. β€οΈπ #100 #NumberOneFan #Brooksy #GratefulForTheJourney
