Dame only been gone like 2 years, and the Blazers rebuilt their talent pool and asset base significantly. Like, he’s never played with a player like Deni or Ja. With the injuries to Ant and J Dub, I wouldn’t be surprised if that Blazers squad got the 6th seed.

Dame ain’t lose a step. Yea man, Portland is gonna be a playoff team again.

Took a look around the league at the prototype of player that the Thunder would probably want to trade for: My criteria: Between 6'5'' and 6'9'', over 200 pounds, listed at SG/SF/PF on Basketball Reference, under 27, current salary under $6.8 million, no significant extension

Toronto's Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss a period of weeks due to swelling in his left knee, sources tell ESPN. MRI on Leonard's knee showed no structural damage, but sides will use the shorter term to ramp him back up after the stoppages during the offseason.

Weird how a signature feature of cults always consists of “god” telling the men to have multiple wives and molest children.

I mean he still can be. He’s 24, not 34. He’s got a solid 10 years of prime years ahead of him.

Notice how he talks about Jokic compared to Luka 🤔

Yaxel Lendeborg on playing with Nikola Jokic: “Oh, it was crazy. I’m trying to like, pick up what he sees because he’s one of the smartest players in the NBA. So I mean, just seeing what he’s seeing and trying to figure out like, what his techniques were. I know he got Brandon on like, the swipe-through. He like, swiped his arm up, and I’ve never seen that before. So that’s something that we were talking about like man, he’s really that smart, just to be able to pick that up so quickly. So I mean, just trying to figure that out, but it was crazy.”

Norm Powell and Patrick Williams for J-Dub and a 1RP. OKC gets a second shot creator and off a lot of long term money. Bulls get a coveted 2 guard that may or may not be as effective as he was before the injury. That’s the gamble.
Bobby Marks
@BobbyMarks42Oct 26
The Thunder are allowed to apply for a Disabled Player Exception for both players. However, the physician designated by the NBA has to determine if either player will be out until June 15. Despite being over the first apron (they can also exceed Apron 2), OKC is allowed to use the DPE and 3 trade exceptions.
110
Unless OKC cashes in those trade assets. They’ve got a lot of em. And good young players other teams want. Topic and Sober go in any trade. If Presti is really shrewd, he trades J Dub, cuts that tax bill, and gets a win-now player.
50
And that’s a wrap for this OKC season.

Musk-Linked Dark Money Network Funded the Group Behind Cornel West’s Ballot Push

People Over Party raised $7.7 million in 2024, all of it from the nonprofit behind the Fair Election Fund, which in turn got every dollar from a Musk-funded dark money group.
