The Senior Counsel for that law firm is Trevor Potter.
Trevor Potter formed The Committee to Modernize Voter Registration (CMVR) in 2009 with none other than MARC ELIAS.
Their goals were more lenient voter laws and a modernized automated system using government databases to automatically register eligible voters (with an opt-out). 🤯
Potter is also a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute.

My crystal ball of extreme outcomes says this is a possibility if Dems control all major positions. Or if they 'win' on the ballot, but the elections then get contested or under federal scrutiny. Too many networks crawling in Alaska establishing an astroturfed grass roots.

When @907Honest led a historic push to eliminate Rank Choice Voting in Alaska, the national Republican Party was nowhere to be seen. He got virtually zero support and still almost got it done.
Now Republicans are about to get screwed by the same system.

This NYTs report on the Alaska Senate race is DAMNING.
Liberal donors carried out a plot to find other Alaskans with the same name as the Republican candidate, Dan Sullivan, have them run for office also, to confuse voters, split the vote, and give the Dems an advantage to win.
Does this sound like “Democracy” to you? Intentionally manipulating the public and feasting on the ignorant, as a means to steal power and overturn the will of The People?

BREAKING: NYT reports that operatives with Democratic Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Mary Peltola’s campaign were behind the effort to find & recruit a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent GOP Senator Dan S. Sullivan in an effort to confuse voters and peel votes from him.
Specifically, NYT says they have reviewed text messages and documents that reveal in summer 2025, a Peltola staffer received instructions from campaign staffers to find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as possible.
The staffer complied, going through voter records, and compiled a list. The operation “involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.”
Per NYT:
“The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.”

Two Senate candidates running as independents have ties to Renew American Democracy, the project ran by ex-USAID workers to restructure American governance. And one of them admits on video they've been "coordinating."
According to the polls, "independent" Dan Osborn is in a toss-up race with Ricketts in Nebraska.
Emerson has South Dakota "independent" Brian Bengs within single digits of Mike Rounds.
The strategy is to elect enough independents to deny either party a governing majority—and use their votes as leverage for structural reforms.
Osborn's 2024 field director, Austen Campbell, laid out the plan:
"We have a goal for 2026 to run a slate of independents and deny both political parties the majority in the House of Representatives in hopes of getting an independent speaker."
Bengs said echoed that on a September 2026 Renew to Thrive call:
"We don't need to get 50 or 51 to change things. We just need a handful."
In their words, this handful is to do "arm-twisting" to get the structural reforms they want.

The draft calls that the MODERATE strategy.
And the political objective extends beyond reforming elections.
In 2023, Walt Roberts told the man who now runs the Independent National Convention that stopping the MAGA GOP was "job one."
As for ending the two-party duopoly?
"That's very secondary right now."
Put those statements together.
A plan to deny both parties a majority. Candidates running as independents. A small voting bloc positioned to extract concessions. A documented list of proposed constitutional and electoral changes. And a stated priority of stopping the MAGA GOP.
The question for Nebraska and South Dakota voters is whether they know what these candidates' political allies have been planning... and whether Osborn and Bengs share those objectives.
