Eric Morris says Colorado might be the best “two-win team” in the nation. “The crazy thing about this team and watching this team, Colorado, right now is they might be the best two-win team in the nation, and you look at their stats defensively. I added it up, I was watching these games and how well they played against Texas Tech on defense, how well they played against Utah on defense. The teams that they’ve lost to I think their combined record’s 21-3 right now. They’ve been in these games, they’re a play away from making it happen. The one thing that strikes me is this team’s really old right now, Colorado, their roster’s old. They got a lot of veteran players and they’ve come from different places, but similar to us, they’ve played a lot of football and I think that shows up.” (Via @ScottProcter_)

ESPN’s @CharlieCreme named two Oklahoma State players in his Top 20 “Impact Transfers” Ranking. 1. Audi Crooks “Landing Crooks was a season saver for coach Jacie Hoyt after nine players departed the program. The Cowgirls head coach needed a major acquisition, and she got the biggest. Crooks, the most productive player in the portal, becomes Oklahoma State's centerpiece, even if for just one season in Stillwater. After three seasons of strong association with the Cyclones, Crooks, who was second in the country at 25.8 points per game, might look strange to Big 12 fans in an Oklahoma State uniform, but she makes the Cowgirls a favorite in the Big 12.” 8. Liv McGill “The only player in the country to average at least 20 points, six rebounds and six assists last season, McGill was asked to carry Florida every game. Now alongside Crooks, she won't have to do that with the Cowgirls, but Jacie Hoyt will need production. McGill's ability to get into the lane and attack the rim should pair well with returners Stailee Heard and Ellie Brueggemann, who made 44% of her 3-pointers at Lindenwood.” (Via @espn) | #GoPokes
