FINALLY
AMAZING news as Missouri officials have just approved funding for a new radar unit in southeastern Missouri!
This new SEMO radar will be in Van Buren, directly in the radar hole you see in red near the bootheel.
This will massively help in severe weather monitoring! #MOwx

(1/4)THE DESERT IS RECHARGING: 18.6 trillion gallons of rain fell in the Four Corners region the last 2 weeks - and it’s having an impact. Flooding has been a big concern, but on the flip side lake levels have come up during a time of year that substantial rises are quite rare.

(1/3) GUNLOCK FALLS UTAH: Historic rains have resurrected one of the crown jewels of southern Utah, yes, even Gunlock Falls! These waterfalls only flow when Gunlock Reservoir is at 106% capacity and is flowing over the emergency spillway.

The same flood water that hit Pagosa Springs this weekend just pushed the San Juan River to its highest level ever recorded at Shiprock, New Mexico...
The river crested at 19.9 feet early this morning, more than 5 feet above the old record from 2019. Upstream in Farmington, it peaked just one-tenth of a foot short of a record set back in 1909.
Now all that water is heading into Utah. At Mexican Hat, the river is moving about 254,000 gallons every second, the most since 1972, and it’s expected to stay above flood stage through Thursday before it reaches Lake Powell.

‼️URGENT PRAYER REQUEST‼️
Durango, CO is in harms way tonight.
-I have friends whose homes have flooded
-Elderly friends with a river at their front door, literally.
-Ambulances just flew by
-Bridges are going (smaller ones)
@ColoradoDOT is working thru the night!
@DurangoPolice & @lpcsheriff are evacuating people right now. Babies, the poor, trailer parks
The scenes are catastrophic and it is supposed to rain ALL NIGHT LONG!
Pray for the hospitals, the first responders, the bridge & road crews.
As I type, I’m getting county messages of new zones to evacuate. But those roads are closing, options are limited, people are trapped and it’s terrifying.
Please pray.
