Hibernian wint de derby. Dan zingen er dus 25.000 uitzinnige Hibees hun clublied, Sunshine on Leith. Het allermooiste clublied in het voetbal. Zelfs je kippenvel ontwikkelt eigen lagen kippenvel. Luister en geniet.
Mooier dan dit wordt het niet.
GOOSEBUMPS! 🤯
@HibernianFC's players are serenaded by their supporters with a spine-tingling rendition of "Sunshine on Leith" after their Edinburgh Derby triumph 🙌

Kreeg in Barcelona eens Supercup-tickets aangeboden.

🎥 The story of Manchester City and the inflatable bananas.
🍌 Manchester City fans have sneaked hundreds of inflatable bananas into Anfield’s away end today, reviving a tradition sparked by striker Imre Varadi’s “Imre Banana” nickname after relegation in 1987.
It's a nod to their time in the lower leagues and with another potential drop looming, the travelling supporters are seeing the funny side.
It's got nothing to do with the Gerrard slip.

Most football fans detest Gianni Infantino. But the Swiss son of poor Italian immigrants may be exactly the FIFA president that most national football federations want. Me @FT on how power in the global game works, and why he's likely to survive. Free link as.ft.com/r/ccedc296-d545-4f…

There are times when you think AI has gone too far, but then there are moments when you see Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air scoring Mesut Özil's goal against Ludogrets, and suddenly it all feels worthwhile.
Makes you wonder: what are the odds that @ManCity would be the only @premierleague club that has been doing this...

Sneu ook voor alle clubs die zijn overgenomen door de City Football Group.
Het imperium gaat onvermijdelijk instorten.

🚨🎙️ Zlatan Ibrahimović on Tijjani Reijnders’ recent interview about his move to Saudi Arabia:
🗣️"People in football love to wear a mask and play the holy saint. They sign a contract for tens of millions and pretend it was only for the 'project' or the 'tradition.' It is bullshit.
Tijjani sat in front of the world and spoke the raw, unedited truth. He said, 'I want to secure my family and my grandchildren so nobody has to work again.' Do you know what that is? That is not greed. That is a real man taking care of his bloodline.
Look at where he came from. At nineteen years old, he was stacking shelves at an Aldi supermarket after training just to get by. He knows what real life costs. He knows what it means to have nothing. So when life puts a deal on the table that guarantees your family will never suffer for generations, you do not play the moralist on television—you sign the paper and you protect your own.
Everyone hypocritically judges him from their couch, but if you put that same contract in front of them, they would sign it before the ink is even wet. He was honest about the money, honest about his ambition, and honest about his family. I respect a man who tells the truth much more than a coward who hides behind fake principles."
