Trauma, past and present, can have wide ranging effects on how we feel about ourselves, our relationships and the world around us. We offer a confidential supportive space where you can meet with a counsellor or listener to talk about issues that might be troubling you.

Huge thanks to Carol and Paul Barrett from @RSPBEngland who came to speak to us today - we made bug hotels and left inspired to make simple but effective changes to our gardens/outside spaces that will help to protect nature and wildlife. #careforcreation #rspb_love_nature

Wonderful to be able to welcome Little Amal to #Bradford today, on her journey from Syria across Europe, as part of #RefugeeWeek2022. Amazing atmosphere in @CityParkBD as Bradford showed just why it is a City of Welcome and a #CityofSanctuary @walkwithamal @CityofSanctuary

We had a really lovely first session of our ‘Whose Bag is it Anyway’ project today, where we are learning about what different faiths teach about caring for creation and considering how we can act together to combat environmental breakdown #interfaith

It was an honour to speak at the book launch of ‘Everyday Sacrament: Visual Meditations in an Age of Pandemic’, by artist Shaeron Caton Rose and Anna Bland, from @leedssanctuary. One of the meditations is based on a project we ran with Shaeron, during lockdown, ‘Together Apart’.

We were able to share how this project brought together women from different faiths to form deep and genuine friendships, which became a huge support for them during such a difficult time. Huge thanks to Shaeron and Anna for inviting us to be part of a really lovely event.

Wonderful to have been able to join these ladies today to have some scrumptious food and joyous conversations about which food reminds us of home, not the physical building but the feeling of home. Thank you for having me @Touchstone3 @ShamimAkhtar270 ♥️ @WellspringsT
Everyone at our ‘Food Stories’ session today brought a dish that symbolised ‘home’ and shared the story behind why it represented home to them. We had a feast of paratha, chickpea curry, samosa chaat and pakoras; followed by Welsh cake, Yorkshire parkin and flapjack! #interfaith
