Do you find it weird at all that we're putting a waste product from oil production on our skin? Mineral oil and vaseline is made from a byproduct of oil refining. The "jelly" was found at the bottom of oil barrels when refining petroleum, and companies decided to repurpose it into skin cream in the 1800s Some are loaded with PAHs which can be carcinogenic. When absorbed, these chemicals stay in your system for incredibly long times I would avoid and use tallow instead
