"My thoughts are with the prison staff who were injured in the suspected terrorist incident at HMP Whitemoor and I would like to thank them, and the emergency services, for their courageous response. We owe those who keep us safe a huge debt of gratitude." – PM @BorisJohnson
Once again "it's the most wonderful time of the year". For many this may be the case, but for an awful lot of people it isn't. Check on your mates. #ItsOkNotToBeOk – at Rugby, England

With October being #BlackHistoryMonth2019 we’re having a month of recognition and acknowledgment for the great men and women of colour who paved the way for all of us. There will be opportunities to network with @HMPPS_RISE colleagues and to potentially learn something new!
As it’s #MentalHealthAwarenessDay we’re promoting taking time out to catch up with a colleague and see how they are. So take 20 mins today to sit down & have a cuppa with somebody or give a colleague a call you haven’t spoke to recently - we all need to talk #ItsOkNotToBeOk
