Maryland Gov. Wes Moore is calling out right-wing political activist Laura Loomer over hateful comments she made toward Florida Rep. Angie Nixon on social media.
On Monday, Loomer defended calling Nixon a โghetto Black communist bโ-โ on X, which is just one of several posts receiving major backlash from both sides of the aisle.
Nixon, a Florida state representative from Jacksonville, recently won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. If elected, she would become Floridaโs first Black U.S. senator.
