Michigan is by far the most slept on state in the US. All 4 major sports team, multiple big cities, a stupid amount of sightseeing for anything from nature to history to sports buffs. The midwestern welcoming environment makes it no surprise.

Ron DeSantis explains why the GOP "screaming socialism" doesn't work anymore: "Young people have a very positive view of socialism compared to capitalism. The question is, why is that? Some of it is the education in our universities. But I think a big part of that is, what they're comparing is not free enterprise versus socialism. What they're comparing is how government gets involved in business, and you have crony capitalism. The best kind of indirect supporters of socialism are some of these corporatist republicans who propagate these crony policies. The average person is seeing that and saying, 'Wait a minute, you're trying to bend the government to funnel benefits to this corporation or that industry. What about having a competitive market? ... Clinton lost 54 seats in the 1994 midterm election. Obama lost 63 seats in the 2010 midterm election. Trump just lost 41 seats in the 2026 midterm election. It’s not exactly the historic event you believe it to be.

Wow. For years, an official in Arkansas allegedly tampered with bar exam scores, pulling points from some test takers and giving them to others. This caused numerous failing exams to pass, and resulted in "at least one instance" where an otherwise passing exam fell below the requisite threshold. cc: @BarExamTutor
