A BIG thank you to our partners at Tokyu Land US Corporation whose wonderful group of volunteers came out to join us in the West Village for a #treestewardship event. Together we planted a total of over 300 daffodil and allium bulbs on MacDougal St, West 3rd St, and Sullivan St!

We #pruned 5 #trees along IS 125Q in Sunnyside. Previously the branches posed an issue with the school during fire drills and other outdoor activities. After #pruning, there is more clearance for students and families to stand under the trees while also benefiting from the shade!

We are moving towards peak fall color in NYC! Some of the best #trees for fall color are: red maple, sweetgum, blackgum, ginkgo, and callery pear. Use “Filter trees by species” on the tree map to find them in the NYC Tree Map: nycgovparks.org/tree-map
