Inventor, author & independent AI builder. Developing Observer: persistent AI memory, evidence-tracked decisions & human–AI collaboration. Building in public.

I'm building Observer, an experimental AI continuity system. The problem: AI can reason through complex projects, but often loses the decisions, evidence, and constraints that got us there. I'm developing a persistent, evidence-tracked project memory system for humans and AI agents. Alongside it, I'm exploring the Triadic State of Mind framework and Mirror hardware concepts. I'll be sharing working demonstrations, test results, failures, and progress here. I'm an independent inventor building this in public. If you're working on AI memory, agent reliability, or human–AI collaboration, I'd love to compare approaches.

Why does AI project continuity break? When a model can't recall something, it rarely says "I don't know." It fills the gap. On my project, one AI described test hardware that never existed. (Clip below.) What has an AI "remembered" about your work that never happened?

I'm Devon, an independent inventor and author, building Observer in public. On a long AI-assisted project, three things should survive every session: 1/ the decision 2/ the evidence behind it 3/ what's still unproven Which one do your AI tools lose first?

My first book is out: The Triadic Mind: Omni Seed. It's about thinking with your whole mind, using logic, emotion and intuition together. When you're stuck, which one do you trust first? amazon.com/dp/B0HMLBVDTF docs.google.com/document/d/1…

That "come on, bro, I'm chillin'" look is unreal. Peep how gorgeous and majestic my coyote is.

Been sitting with a set of old documents that keep pointing at the same open questions — wireless power, closed systems, and what gets finished when the review process is short. So I’ve been building the pieces that still feel unfinished. Project Zero is the closed-loop side. Once it’s spinning it doesn’t ask for continuous external fuel. Superfluid Vacuum Drive looks at the field side. Mirror Mirror is the persistent multi-agent observer that keeps the experimental thread from dying when the math or the hardware gets strange. None of it needs rare-earth magnets. All of it is meant to stay on the bench. Not claiming anyone’s map. Just noticing which problems stayed open and which ones I’m still working on.@elonmusk

If the 1890s books were just Victorian nonsense, fine. If Tesla’s later notes really were worthless, fine. If von Braun just liked the sound of the word Elon, fine. But if any of it was a partial map, then the work that didn’t get seized is still unfinished. I’m not waiting for the next uncle with a two-day review. The prototypes are already running.

I’ve been building closed-loop energy systems and observer interfaces for a while now. Project Zero is the closed-loop side — AI-controlled, no external fuel once spinning. Superfluid Vacuum Drive is the field side. Mirror Mirror is the persistent multi-agent observer that keeps the project from stalling when the math or the hardware gets weird. None of it requires rare-earth magnets. All of it is meant to stay on the bench instead of disappearing into a warehouse.

You can call all of that coincidence. You can also notice that the same street, the same hotel footprint, the same family name reviewing the suppressed papers, and a title for the Mars leader that matches the man currently building the rockets all land in the same narrow set of documents. Predictive programming or a leak. Either way the pattern is cleaner than it should be.

1949, Wernher von Braun (V-2, then NASA) writes a Mars novel while at Fort Bliss. In it the leader of the Martian government is titled “the Elon,” elected by universal suffrage. The technical appendix is published in 1953. The full novel sits unpublished until 2006. The title “Elon” was already written down before the current one was born.
