Listen to Justice Scaliaโs warning about what will happen once our system of checks and balances gets overthrown by a centralized structure of power.
โITS GAME OVER!โ
The fact that this is a question in anyoneโs mind is why depending on any government is a foolโs errand!
The Pentagon is ordering all U.S. military bases to stockpile a minimum of 90 days of supplies. EVERYTHING - food, water, medical supplies, energy, you name it.
What do you suppose that means for what Trump knows is coming? And if the Pentagon has 90 days of supplies to survive completely off grid, how many days of supplies should YOU nail down?

$28,303 a year for family health insurance. Up 387% since 1999. And after paying that, families still face deductibles, copays, prior authorizations, and a 7-minute visit with a doctor who's staring at a screen. You're not paying for care. You're paying for the middlemen.
BREAKING: The average cost of a familyโs annual health insurance premium in the US is up +$1,303 YoY, or +5%, to a record $28,303.
This marks the 4th consecutive annual increase of at least +$1,300.
Over this period, the average annual premium for family coverage has surged +$5,884, or +26%.
To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much.
Since 1999, the average health insurance premium for a family has soared +$22,494, or +387%.
This represents an average annual growth rate of +6.1%, well above CPI inflation at +2.6% over the same period.
Health insurance has never been more expensive.
The United States is leveraging cheap energy to gain back manufacturing! Yuge Win!!
Being a decentralized voice in a world that is consolidating its thoughts around lies is never easy.
The GOP is insufferable in its own hypocrisy! Your husband owns a 10% stake in a private drone company that received $37 million from taxpayers via a Pentagon contract. All while you sit on the Oversight subcommittee voting on defense policy! Hypocrite!
I donโt own or trade stock. Many Members of Congress are getting RICH on inside information and itโs not right. Proud to partner with @GovRonDeSantis on this issue and even changed FL disclosures for candidate seeking Federal office to disclose this to their voters!
Any elected official propagating the death of a future generation in America should be deemed unelectable!
Abortion is health care.
And those health care decisions should be made by a woman and her doctor โ not by the federal government, and certainly not by Donald Trump.
So long as Iโm Governor, abortion will remain safe, legal, and accessible here in Pennsylvania. And I will always protect a womanโs fundamental freedom to make her own decisions about her body.
Itโs no wonder why nobody trusts in the healthcare system!

Paul said some people preach Christ out of selfish ambition and not sincerely, but he still rejoiced that Christ is proclaimed either way (Phil 1:15-18). And the disciples tried to stop a guy who wasnโt following them from doing stuff in Jesusโ name, and Jesus told them not to (Mark 9:38-40). So if the song is actually putting Jesus out there, calling it grifting and trying to shut it down just because sheโs not one of us sounds a lot like what Jesus corrected.
I know there's nuance like her distorting our faith but Jesus didnt mind. Idk.

5 OF THE LARGEST TEN BANKS IN THE US HAVE NOW ENTERED A BEAR MARKET TERRITORY.
Bank of America: -23.5%
Wells Fargo: -20.1%
Goldman Sachs: -24%
Morgan Stanley: -24%
Capital One: -25%
Along with this, the KBW Nasdaq Bank Index has dropped 15.6% from its peak and has hit a 5-month low.
Historically, bank stocks peak before the recession, and if this decline continues, it'll be a sign that there's a lot of trouble ahead for the US economy.

Many Democrats argue that Congresspersons should not be investigated. On the contrary, all 535 of them should be audited every six months. Too many become overnight multi-millionaires on a regular salary.
We live in a world that constantly pressures us to think, speak and live a certain way. Society tries to tell us what is acceptable, what is popular and what we should value. Sometimes the pressure to fit in can be so strong that we are tempted to compromise our faith just to be accepted by others.
But as believers we are not called to conform to the worldโฆwe are called to reflect Christ in it.
Resisting conformity doesnโt mean we think we are better than others or that we isolate ourselves from the world. It means we refuse to let the worldโs standards replace Godโs truth. When the world encourages dishonesty, we choose integrity. When the world promotes hatred, we choose love. When the world celebrates sin, we choose obedience to God.
The key to resisting conformity is renewing your mind through Godโs Word, spending time in prayer, and surrounding yourself with people who encourage you to grow in your faith.
โAnd be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.โ

Dear Secretary Bessent @SecScottBessent,
My name is Everett Stern. In 2010 I was a compliance officer at @HSBC. From a back office in New Castle, Delaware, I watched billions of dollars move to drug cartels, sanctioned regimes, and terrorist organizations. The enemies of the United States. I documented it, I escalated it, and when the bank would not act, I took it to the @FBI, the @CIA, and eventually the @SECGov.
The result was a $1.92 billion settlement. At the time, it was one of the largest in American history. It was also about five weeks of the bankโs profit. Not one banker was charged. Not one went to prison.
I paid a different price. I lost my career, my savings, and my place in the industry I had trained for. I was blacklisted. Every door in American finance closed at once. I slept on a camping cot in a 300 square foot apartment because I could not afford a bed, and I waited tables at @PFChangs to eat. I tell you this not for sympathy, but so you understand that I know exactly what it costs to do the right thing in American finance, and exactly how little the system does in return.
I made that sacrifice because I believed it would change something.
Yesterday, your department fined @BankofAmerica $1.2 billion for failing to report more than $5 billion in suspicious transactions, some of it tied by your own findings to Chinese laundering networks, narcotics, and the southwest border, alongside 475 apparent sanctions violations touching Russia, Iran, and global terrorism. The bank admitted it willfully violated the Bank Secrecy Act.
Fourteen years after HSBC. A bank with โAmericaโ in its name. And once again, not one individual charged.
Secretary Bessent, I want to say plainly what I believe you already know. The fines are not working.
A fine is paid by shareholders, absorbed by the balance sheet, and forgotten by the next earnings call. Bank of America reported earnings this morning. Nobody who set the alert thresholds, nobody who decided the 2024 cease and desist could wait, nobody who chose the backlog over the law will lose a single thing they value. Their lives are untouched. That is the entire reason the behavior repeats.
This is money laundering. This is blood money. Money that reaches a cartel buys fentanyl that kills Americans. Money that reaches a terrorist organization buys the next attack. This country has fought a war on drugs and a war on terror for decades, at enormous cost in lives and treasure, and all the while we have allowed the financing to flow through institutions we charter and regulate. Cut off the money and we win. We have never seriously tried.
There is also a question of equal justice that I cannot let go.
Before I walked into the FBI building to report HSBC, I stopped in front of the Great Seal on the wall and read the words engraved beneath it: โJustice is the defense of our liberty.โ I believed that. I still want to. But every day in this country, people go to prison for crimes that are nothing next to moving money for the people who want Americans dead. A suit, a title, and a corporate badge should not be a shield from the consequences that apply to everyone else. If a street dealer goes to prison for what he sells, the banker who moved the cartelโs money should be standing next to him.
I also want to raise something that is rarely said in these conversations. Why has no one inside Bank of America come forward the way I did? The answer is that everyone in American banking knows what happened to me, and to the whistleblowers who came after. The last person who spoke up is the only policy anyone believes. That is a culture problem, and it starts with leadership, in the banks and in the agencies that regulate them.
This is not a political issue. It has spanned administrations of both parties. It is a national security issue, and I am asking you to treat it as one.
Three things would change the math overnight.
Refer individuals for criminal prosecution. Not the analyst in the queue. The executives who set the thresholds and chose the risk. One banker in handcuffs would do more than every fine in Treasuryโs history combined.
End โtoo big to jail.โ An institution cannot be too big to fail and too big to jail at the same time. If it is the first, it must be held to a higher standard, not a lower one.
And if Bank of America will not act as Americaโs bank, review its charter. A national charter is a privilege granted on behalf of the American people. It should be conditioned on not moving money for the people trying to kill them.
Secretary Bessent, you said yesterday that these actions send a clear message that even the biggest institutions are not above the law. With respect, the institution was never the problem. The people inside it are above the law, and they know it. Until that changes, I will keep writing letters like this one, and the next bank will keep paying the next fine.
I gave up everything I had to stop this. I am asking you to use the power you have to finish it.
Respectfully,
Everett A. Stern
