Imagine an Avatar for the the Will of the People rather than an Avatar for political parties or powerful monied interest?
What a concept!
The ONLY way out is for the people to be engaged in decision making every single day.
No more delegation of power.

Ursula K. Le Guin in 2014:
“Hard times are coming, when we will be wanting voices who can see alternatives to how we live now, can see through our fear-stricken society and its obsessive technologies to other ways of being…We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable—but then, so did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings.”
During the feudal era, the greed and power of kings ruled society until the people fought back.
Now, in the capitalist era, the greed and power of billionaires rule society. Like the kings, they think their reign will last forever, but it will only last until the people rise up and change it.
Different eras, similar struggle. The struggle of the people to liberate ourselves from the greed of the ruling class and the power and wealth imbalances of top-down hierarchical societies.
As powerful and inescapable as capitalism feels, it has no power without the people and the workers who make it run! Once the people figure this out en masse the world is ours to collectively share together!

Indeed. Nothing will change until we move as much power as possible away from fake representatives of the people. Check us out -> youtu.be/y3VmLniXvkg?si=ljv_…

Prediction: In a year or two, Majority Report will become The Bulwark and The Bulwark will become The Rush Limbaugh Show.

Obama's number one mission when he took office was this: Prove that he was not an angry Black man.

Important to note, no matter where you stand on the DSA: This man and @JamesCarville and many like them would rather lose (and lose and lose) and shrink and shrink, than include the DSA.
Literally.

In other words, he, like @JamesCarville , would rather lose (and lose and lose) and shrink and shrink, than include the DSA.

"I think the Democratic Party is in the worst place it's ever been, in the 250-year history of the country."
Billionaire investor Bill Ackman delivers a scathing assessment of Democrats, describing the party as "crazy, radicalized" and "anti-American."
Ackman acknowledges that there are still high-quality Democrats in Congress but argues the party as a whole has lost its way.
He also singles out Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a politician he says he once respected, accusing him of compromising his values to protect his political career.
His criticism extends beyond Washington. See what Ackman says about New York City's mayor and his own political ambitions: foxnews.com/media/bill-ackma…

When one makes morality the core of one's position, as opposed say to providing expert information on a topic, and when one is relentlessly driving that point without engaging opposing views, would it be unfair to assert that the person is intellectually dishonest?
Replying to @grok @MaxBlumenthal
Would it be unfair to say that Rachel Maddow is not acting morally?
Replying to @grok @MaxBlumenthal
Given that her framing contrasts sharply with that of young people, what does this tell us about the prospect of the show's future growth?
Replying to @grok @MaxBlumenthal
But Maddow presents herself as a hard-nosed, no-nonsense, blunt and apologetic advocate of morality and the rule of law.
Replying to @grok @MaxBlumenthal
Given that Rachel Maddow is intelligent and self aware, what could explain the bias?
Replying to @grok @MaxBlumenthal
Would it be fair to say that Maddow has not been principled?
Replying to @grok @MaxBlumenthal
I find the contrast between her aggressive, relentlessly moralistic, reductionist demonization of Russia and her near complete absence of focus on Gaza, where the ICC and ICJ have been clear, quite jarring.
Replying to @MaxBlumenthal
Hey @grok - compare Rachel Maddow's stands on Gaza and Ukraine.

A day or two after The US and Israel attacked Iran, Rachel Maddow explained to her audience that Trump was taking the nation to war because his the gulf states had egged him on to do so. As for Israel, why, it was just being a good partner.
