Council passed Motion 438, scheduling the parachain auctions for the rest of the year. TL;DR auctions will occur roughly every 100,800 blocks (every 7 days) until January 2023.

Crowdloans on Kusama do not require you to transfer KSM to an account. Contributing using the crowdloan UI on @PolkadotJs ensures that your KSM will be returned; by transferring directly to an account, you are trusting the receiver to send your KSM back.
