Confess it, trust His forgiveness, and keep walking with God. When you fall, don’t hide in shame. Run to Christ in repentance, trusting His finished work. Your forgiveness rests not on your performance, but on His grace. Get back up, keep fighting sin, and keep looking to Christ.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

I agree on the substance here of kicking people out of the kingdom over petty disagreements.
But the irony of @Soteriology101 ‘s second paragraph is thick.
Leighton is condescending, pious, and absolutely does not listen to opposing views to learn but rather refute.
He won’t see this because he has me muted, and that’s fine, he can mute whomever he wishes.
And before people jump on me, let me explain that I don’t care one little bit that Leighton rejects Calvinism. Calvinism is not some necessity to be Christian. It’s secondary and plenty of people go to heaven without ever being Calvinist.
But…… Leighton has an entire ministry dedicated to refuting Calvinism. He willingly engages Calvinist doctrine. So I’m going to hold his feet to the fire that he would do so in a proper manner, which he rarely does.
Let’s consider myself, I’m not a perfect picture, but regardless of what people say I do listen to the opposing side and take their claims serious. I formulate arguments that show why I don’t accept them. I say things passionately sure, but what’s the issue with that?
Yet I’m labeled as a bad faith interlocutor. Why? Because I formulate actual arguments rather than bare assertions? lol
Leighton is the opposite of that, yet everyone puts him forth as some great and humble guy.
Whatever.
I’ll remind everyone that I’ve made this same appeal countless times from our side of the Soteriological isle but apparently it must be restated again and again. I know many very good Christians who affirm Calvinistic claims, just as I once did. It is just not wise or helpful to cast them out of the kingdom due to a theological misunderstanding.
BTW, I don’t mute, block or disengage Calvinists, like Ron, because I don’t think he is a Christian. I do so because he is condescending, rude and doesn’t give any indication that he listens to understand and engage actual points of contention. Life is too short for that. There are Christians who lack the maturity to engage these discussions but that doesn’t mean they aren’t Christians. 😊
Prayer request.
I am asking for Christian prayer again this morning. My mom in law has Parkinson’s and it took a turn for the worse in mid July. This means my wife and EJ’s mom has moved in with her to provide around the clock care. It is very difficult for all parties, but especially my wife. But the Lord is good to us beyond every expectation.
We are praying for stamina, strength, and freedom from anxiety.
Selfishly, my chronic back pain is out of control and I cannot just throw pain meds on top of it.
