Explaining Regulus Corneas's Authority for ANIME onlies, because the anime barely scratches the surface of how ridiculously overpowered his ability actually is. Most of its explanation comes from LN narration, so there's quite a lot the anime never properly explains. The Author himself has even called Regulus's Authority the strongest in terms of both offense and defence. Regulus possesses 2 abilities: Lion's Heart and Little King Lion's Heart allows Regulus to stop the time of himself or anything he touches. Anything affected is separated from the world's flow of time, no longer obeys its laws and concepts and is liberated from them. To put it simply, anything whose time he stops becomes incapable of experiencing change. For example, when Regulus freezes his own time, his body remains in the exact condition it was in at that moment. If he wasn't hungry, he cannot become hungry. If he wasn't tired, he cannot become exhausted. He doesn't age, doesn't need to breathe, and has no need to eat, drink, or sleep, because all of those things would require his condition to change. And the same applies to injuries. If Regulus was unharmed when he stopped his time, he cannot become injured afterward. You could hit him with enough force to destroy an entire planet, and it wouldn't make a difference. His body simply cannot change from its original condition. U can think of cause and effect. Normally, fire causes burns, poison causes illness, physical impacts cause injuries, etc. Regulus can still be exposed to these things, but the effects they would normally have on his body cannot take place. He can even consciously make his body reject and completely destroy whatever touches him, and his protection isn't limited to physical attacks, as even attempts to interfere with his senses, mind or soul cannot affect him. Offensively Lion's Heart works just as ridiculously. People should first know that Regulus is physically just a normal human being. His attacks aren't powered by some ridiculous amount of energy or physical strength. They work by applying the exact same principle to ordinary objects. He can stop the time of sand, water, pebbles or even air. An Example is throwing a grain of sand at a steel wall. Normally, the sand would break apart upon impact. But Regulus's sand cannot be damaged, slowed down or otherwise changed, so it simply passes straight through the wall. So his attacks don't overpower the durability of whatever they hit but instead ignore the physical resistance entirely. Even if something hypothetically had the durability of an entire planet or universe, conventional durability alone wouldn't protect it. What's even more interesting is how these attacks interact with objects. Instead of necessarily causing enormous explosions or craters, they can leave holes matching the exact shape of whatever passed through. For example, Regulus can pass through a wall and leave a human shaped opening without shattering the entire structure around it like in a cartoon. Moving on, he can even weaponize the air displaced by simply moving his hands or literally breathing out (yes, even his breath would kill you). These air attacks are practically invisible beyond ordinary invisibility, to the point that even Reinhard initially couldn't detect them. For anyone wondering why that's impressive, Reinhard's senses are anything but normal. He's capable of detecting life, sensing the presence and intentions of others, detecting miasma. Even ordinary trained knights can sense hostility and the presence of other people, while Reinhard's perception is on an entirely different level. His eyesight is also described as being capable of clearly detecting anything regardless of distance. He can even perceive Petelgeuse's invisible spiritual form. Yet could not see or sense Regulus's invisible attacks. #リゼロ #rezero

Re:Zero being the best isekai anime really shouldn’t be controversial atp. Best written protagonist in the genre. Best written overall cast by far in isekai [ANIME] and it’s not close, to the point where multiple characters have enough characterization and history and dynamics to be protagonists of their own stories. Great story with an even better overarching plot. Insane mysteries and lore, Great worldbuilding, Great power system, Comedy, horror, romance, action, psychological drama, it can genuinely make you feel everything. If you were to make a Combined Ranking of Isekai Seasons, Season 1, 2 and 4 of Re:zero would be in the Top 3. The adaptation might be above average and is holding back the source material and but it's still enough to be the best in the genre 😉 #リゼロ #無職転生 #転スラ #Rezero #MushokuTensei #Tensura Art: 1. @smst56 2. @awdlut 3. @alwkvu 4. @snxn160604

Something people still don't seem to understand is that Reinhard isn't strong because of his Divine Protections. He's strong because he's Reinhard. Even without them, he'd still be the strongest character in Re:Zero. And against Reinhard, Orsted would be restricted to close quarters combat, since he wouldn't be able to use magic around him. People should honestly stop putting Orsted into Conversations he doesn't belong in. #リゼロ #無職転生 #Rezero #MushokuTensei
