An extreme unparalleled cutting unit I setup thanks to the JD eccentrics to showcase to our team here why it’s so important to have rollers paralleled to cylindrical reels. Twisted frames and coned reels are some of the reasons why we could see something like this across all colors of cutting units. Heights good and cuts paper just isn’t a good enough look into a cutting unit.

Life just got easier maintaining cutting unit squareness at The JIC thanks to @JPsTurf front roller brackets. Only took a few minutes to use them to align the side plates and then dial in the front roller alignment to the reel. No more headaches with the OEM eccentric’s. #parallelism #CutlineisKing #SIP

Had some bedknifes that were showing different levels of life and thickness on our new toro greens mowers. Chucked them up in the Ideal 6000 and it was clear we had some twist as well as not parallel to the pivot bolts. 3 out of 5 being a concern. Now these bars will be excellent. One of the reasons I got away from a grinder that indexes off the shaft. They aren’t perfect and to keep from grinding a taper into a good reel we had to paint pen mark shafts so we could maintain our standards.
