Today’s bee inspection..developing queen cells found, these were removed to prevent the hive from swarming. It’s swarming season so if you come across one just leave it alone and they will usually move along by themselves. Local honey bee products for sale in our gift shop 🐝🍯

Yesterday according to the meteorological calendar was the first day of Spring. That means 1 thing, Turton Tower will soon be open to visitors. doors re-open on Wed 26th March, 11am to 4pm. opening hours are - Wed to Sun 11am to 4pm, plus all bank holidays until 26th Oct 2025.
