When Albert Einstein met Charlie Chaplin in 1931, Einstein said, "What I admire most about your art is its universality. You do not say a word, and yet the world understands you." "It's true." Replied Chaplin, "But your fame is even greater. The world admires you, when no one understands you."

Ellen: Well over 90% of frequent vapers are adults, not teens (frequent use implies you own & buy products).
Only 3.8% of teen vapers get their products online. So, your online sales ban did not help teens. It just deprived adult smokers and vapers of their rights.

Brilliant beautiful sensible response to #SaferNicotine deniers:
"The authors appear to misunderstand the role of tobacco harm reduction... Replacing a high-risk behavior with a far less harmful one is a well-accepted public health strategy."

Oh yes, darling, Great Britain is the "mad" one--a country that saw smoking rates drop by 16% since 2006 [compared to 6% EU-wide] & far greater declines since 2015 than Australia. Absolutely bonkers, those Brits. ec.europa.eu/commfrontoffice…

If e-cigarettes are less harmful than cigarettes and can help Americans get away from cigarettes .... then where is the logic in taxing e-cigarettes at $1.50/cartridge, compared to $1.10/pack for cigarettes? rstreet.org/2020/07/16/kentu…

I'll never forget the way Ennio Morricone described music as “energy, space, and time.” It is, perhaps, the most concise and accurate description I’ve ever heard. We'll truly miss him. This is the Love Theme from "Cinema Paradiso." #EnnioMorricone

I googled "flavored #nicotine" and this ad came up. I was surprised to find out that fruity nicotine candy and bubblegum is available in Australia without a prescription at every convenience store and that MPs overwhelmingly support this blatant marketing to children.🙄
