There he stood, our Stone Age stargazer, created by the wonderful Mark and Rebecca from @TwoCDesign. This has to be our most detailed wickerman yet... We say it every year, but this one really was almost too nice to burn!

With only a few weeks to go 'till Beltain, we're hard at work on this year's wickerman 💪 Mark and Rebecca are internationally-renowned environmental artists and willow weavers, and it's always with mixed feelings that we have to burn their stunning creations!

There is a big problem with @Tesco and they do NOT want you to know about it 🤫 Tesco tells customers it aims to be deforestation-free. Indigenous People of the Amazon say Tesco is STILL doing business with meat giant JBS, putting people & planet at risk. Who do you believe?

Adore #Beltane at @butserfarm! Have been going every year since it began and will do so every year. Pro tip, always book premium parking and you see the wicker man better from further back. So don't rush to sit near the front and miss the fantastic stage acts near the entrance!

Here's a timelapse of the rebuild -- it's fascinating to see it all come together in the end! Thank you to everyone who visited for the #FestivalofArchaeology and got hands on with this build! And to the wonderful environmental artist @TwoCDesign for leading the project 🌿

Today is #worldbeeday to celebrate we teamed up withHebden Royd CofE to learn all about why bees are important. The kids all made a fabulous 3D paper sculpture of a bee along with a giant bee. We are really happy with the result!. @grasslinesports @sprayplant @Bridgerectifier

The pupil led School/Eco-Council considered the various ideas and produced a final, integrated design, which translated into a buildable structure with a meandering turfed roof, planted with spring bulbs. ‘The Seedling’ was voted as the winning name choice. @TwoCDesign
