We stand with Lynne Pinches. No men in @ultimatepool_
Lynne & WRN thrown out of the tournament. Lynne had already been thrown out before we had arrived with our #SaveWomensSports banner.
Lynne thrown out for no reason. WRN for opening banner.

‘Be kind’ to men pretending to be women (who are not) cheating in sport, stealing women’s places, awards & prize money … & **** the women - who needs to ‘Be kind’ to them? I just can’t understand how any sane person goes along with this!! 🤬 reality matters! Categories are for vital fairness.

After @PinchesLynne was thrown out of the competition some brave women stood up for women-only in a Women’s competition.
Shame on you @ultimatepool_
#ExpectUs everywhere you allow men to invade women’s sports.

Preposterous. Why anyone supports this cheating bullsh*t is utterly beyond me.

Until the last few years I’d never really thought of myself as an outspoken feminist. But the relentless attacks on female rights across the world is exhausting & damaging. We must push back. As a mum of a daughter & now a grandma of a grand daughter I can’t not. Decades of previous generations fought for sex discrimination laws, which mean zero if anyone can now identify their way into another sex - when in reality no human being can change their biological sex. Today in Iran & Afghanistan women are basically modern day slaves with the international community doing practically nothing to stop it. We are going backwards…

This is the man, "Valentina" Petrillo, who is going to compete in the Paralympics as a female. He is a 51 year old male. Taking the place of a young disabled athlete. #PetrilloOut Make it trend.

This is a biological male fighting a female & absolutely everyone can see it, they have also failed gender screening, twice & have XY chromosomes. There is no ambiguity that the IOC do not care if a female gets seriously hurt. Or worse. I’m astonished at the weakness of the media

Nicole had more integrity & skill in her little finger. You are a traitor to female fighters the world over. Biology isn’t a matter of choice. These boxers are XY & the fact you don’t care a female boxer could get seriously hurt - not to mention fair sporting opportunities compared to males, is extraordinarily ignorant, males already get so much more, but this shows you for who you are as does your personal attack. Name calling reveals the weakness of your argument & exposes your poor character & lack of boxing knowledge for all to see.

In Pool 🎱.Currently; Our Women's National Singles Champion is a Man. Our Women's Champion of Champions is a Man. Our Women's European Champion is a Man. Our Women's Masters Champion is a Man. Our Women's World Champions team contains a Man. Let that sink in @sharrond62 @Glinner

I’m speaking at the UN tomorrow. I’ll be using my personal experience of 50yrs in elite sport & the terrible GDR era, to show females deserve their own category of sport, free from any males, to offer equality of opportunity to 51% of this world’s population. We ARE as worthy..

‘At the Olympic Games we are all equal. There is no discrimination,’ says Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, being very economical with the actualité. We don’t know how you keep a straight face Mr Bach. @IOCMedia has done ZERO to address the glaring inequalities in women’s sport.
Take Tokyo 2020: males were selected to represent their countries in women’s archery, athletics, basketball, skateboarding, BMX cycling, weightlifting. Just a tad discriminatory to the women who lost out on Olympic selection and possible podium places.
Will there be males in female categories @Paris2024? Undoubtedly. We don’t know who they are yet – and as most males as listed on the team sheets as female it’s very hard to unpick – but there will be males taking places from females in Paris. Sacre bleu!
It would have been the easiest thing in the world for Thomas Bach to draw a line in the sand and state: NO males in female sport. But, no, we have platitudes and obfuscation from the man at the top of the IOC.
Meanwhile sportswomen compete on a very unlevel playing field.

Thread. Listen to a 15 year old girl talk about how she now has to face boys being in her sport.
Worse than that, she may have had to change in front of a boy without her consent.
Hear her distress. This is the distress of a sexual assault victim. 1/
