Third act of Wildwood had me hitting the hardest one of these I’ve done during a movie in a LONG time

Theater is unfortunately empty for Wildwood, but I’m still grabbing one of the front row seats anyways. Time to experience a kind of cinema that might not come around again for a long time, if ever.

Clayface is formulaic and largely nothing. Tom Rhys Harries’ delivers a commanding lead performance amongst a sea of forgettable side characters. However, the body horror delivers and the final act is enough fun to make this a fine watch. boxd.it/gV0etx

Is it bad if I watch the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre before seeing the original

Jesus Christ. Crushed the entire season in one sitting. Nathan Fielder is so singular. It’s a miracle this even exists. No clue how you can top something like this in Season 3.

Now watching: Season 2

Seeing people act like they know everything regarding the intent of YCSE and a clear delineation of truth and fiction, purporting they understand it all between Fielder/Oppenheim/Holmes like they have a third eye. You don’t. No one does. That’s the genius at play here.

Nearly a 3-hour podcast tomorrow. All 4 hosts are present. You Will Hear Everything.

Seeing this in a packed theater without having anything spoiled for me beforehand made for one of the most incredible theatrical experiences of all time. Just utterly fascinating. WOW!
