when normies ask me how business is going I usually just lie and say its not going great , make up some complaint/issue and then change the subject its just not worth letting normies on to the fact that your achieving something, never results in anything good just invites jealousy / hate ofc people doing better than you will be positive and generally wont really care how your finances are going, so not even really worth talking about with them either unless for advice the true friends that are supportive when you are 100% honest about what you are acheiving are so rare, its literally 1% of friends in your lifetime that will be like this those relationships should never be taken for granted
You are lucky in life if >5 people are happy you are successful. Definition of successful is achieving something beyond what they did btw (crucial).

not a lot of people know this but I was the youngest to climb Cathedral in Yosemite when i was 8 years old my Dad started me rope climbing when i was three years old still in diapers I grew up to be fearless mf, absolute ruthless risk taker the benefits far outweigh the risks
A Colorado father who climbed Yosemite’s El Capitan with his 7-year-old son says someone reported him to child protective services, questioning his parenting.

You essentially spent 80%+ of your waking hours for the past 10 years in a sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system state Meaning you've been overstimulated, stressed and anxious for the vast majority of hours spent awake And most likely your sleep has suffered too Which made your vagal tone even more sympathetic dominant Good news you want to lock in only one trainable skill: The switch from sympathetic -> parasympathetic nervous activation (chill mode) Your biggest needle movers here are 1) Breathing -> After each fire you put out (which is inevitable in your line of business, so just focus on controlling the controllables) 2 min slow nasal breathing with longer exhales -> Weekly BOLT (Breathing Oxygen Level Test) Score measurement: takes 2 minutes, get seated, breathe in normally, exhale comfortable (don't push all the air out of your lungs), start a timer, pinch your nose, release it at the first definitive urge to breathe (breathing throat reflex, mild gaspng, don't wait till your face turns blue, this is not a competition) -> Short nasal breathing exercise routine 3-4X/week with difficulty scaled to previous week's BOLT score, ideally in the mornings before checking phone/emails 2) Adrenal hormones -> Order a salivary cortisol test (ideally with sampling 4X/day, 1-2 days will be enough, you can do the testing yourself, post it back to the lab, they'll email you the results, easy) -> Based on that see your Diurnal Cortisol Curve -> Based on that rule out or catch a type of Adrenal Dysfunction (sounds scarier than what it is, can handle it easily once you get the curve) 3) Evenings -> Establish a solid evening routine you can repeat everywhere accross any time zones with 3 simple steps in mind; calming down your Body (e.g. warm shower, quick 5-min mobility practice, 4-7-8/Buteyko Breathing)-Nerves (chamomile tea, Mganesium Glycinate, Passionflower, Progressive Muscle relaxation)-Brain (reading/journaling) -> Blue light blockers, sleep mask/blackout courtains, thermostat/AC at 60-67F ->White/pink/brown noise/binaural beats in the background if external disturbances keep waking you up -> No food 3, no drinks 2, no screens (or screens only with blue light blockers on) 1 hour before bed -> Pinch of Celtic/Himalayan salt with your last glass of water to prevent night time urination breaks 4) Redundancy -> Backup ad accounts (as many as possible) -> Tighter account security -> Working towards more than one top buyer 5) Tracking -> HRV & Resting Heart Rate trends -> Full thyroid, androgen & adrenal panel now, in 3 months, 6 months and follow-up later at 12 months 6) Parasympathetic compounds (ONLY once 1)-5) are already locked in) -GABA -Apigenin -L-theanine -Ashwagandha -Sulbuthiamine -Phosphatidylserine -Magnesium Glycinate or L-Threonate 7) Save & print the two articles below (links in the first comment) ⤵️
my nervous system has been fully fried for a long time, been putting out fires daily for 10+ years meta accounts hacked overnight , top buyer pulling out randomly toppling campaigns etc could happen at any hour, with my biz theres something every day going on keeping me 24/7 on guard not sure i have found any real solution at all other than just getting enough sleep and getting outside, working out regularly. Has anyone else really cracked this nervous system issue?

lifestyle design needs to be a very big part of your goal planning the goal is to build a lifestyle that is so good, that traveling anywhere else feels like a downgrade really think through what type of home you want to live in, what activities/hobbies you will do, the people around you , all of it it has been a massive motivating factor to fulfill the lifestyle I actually wanted, and was powerful to lean into that for a long period of time i am now at the point where i need other motivators (kids, etc), because i genuinely have everything i want lifestyle wise thats where you need to get to

one of the most cringe trends of 2026 was all the operators bragging about firing their team for AI im all for AI and running lean, but i am also all about playing long term games with intellegent and competent people I trust I have very little churn at my company and alot of the people on my team have been with me for 6+ years since i started hiring I care deeply about the success of my people and will break my back to help succeed them in any way that I can in return the highly skilled and competent team members drive massive revenue and profits if they are actually incompetent and losing money long term thats one thing but bragging about firing the people that genuinely dedicate their lives to support you and your company is disgusting you deserve to fail if you publicly brag about how many people you fired this year, like they are some nuisance or burden that you have been freed of

a lot of people think they are entitled to success and wealth but really have zero clue what it actually takes when i started aff marketing at 17 with paid ads, i dumped every single dollar I had into testing for three years to get profitable I mowed lawns and filled up water glasses at restaurants to get my test budget I would save up $2-3k over the course of several months, and use every penny to test affiliate offers on different paid traffic sources and zero out pops network with $1k minimum, bought postcards/lists and tried direct mail drops, search ads on bing/google, tried everything I possibly could... for 3 years straight I repeatedly zero'd out my bank account one test after another, and would go back and work furiously to save up enough for the next test when I ran out of money for paid ads, I would start writing 12 blog articles per day to try to rank for free organic traffic. did blogging for a whole year wrote probably 1200 articles and didn't rank for a single kw. absolute brutal failure meanwhile literally eating ramen for dinner for 99 cents then one day , one of these random offer tests on bing/google search cracked off... at 20 years old I went from having $1k in my bank account, to making $30k profit month one... To making my first million dollars in profit a year later that first profitable campaign ended up running for 5 entire years from 2014-2019 then from 2020 to now went on a multi nine figure generational run with various ppc / lead gen verticals at a very young age i decided that failure was simply just not an option, and I would zero out as many times as it took to figure things out. It took 3 entire years but if it had taken more I would have done it quitting was just simply not even an option i allowed myself to consider I have carried that level of tenacity and grit with my to do this day, and attack with even more intensity now than I did at the beginning the lesson here is that its going to be way harder than you think. there were days I wanted to throw my computer out my window and never look at a paid ad ever again while all my friends were spending all day having fun, picking up chicks, partying, I was locked in my room going through hell every day but all that pain was temporary, and let me tell you I was certainly able to do all those things once I was making 7 figures a year at 20 years old and I still wake up every single day ready to walk through the mud to unlock my next breakthrough but I have reached financial freedom in my 30s that most hope for in their retirement have supported my parents financially for many years got my dream house , venture portfolio, and enough to never have to worry pain is temporary expand your time horizon for pain endurance the negative emotion your feeling toward failure today can only be resolved by attacking again tomorrow and making progress every time you get back up and fight , your closer to the other side, but it could take years and years fight for what you want like you have nothing to lose eventually after kicking at the doors long enough the hinges start to break and you eventually get what you want

My first year of college i got into surfing and got invited to come on spring break to Rincon PR with the surf club We arrive and party until 3am the first night, and at 5am i'm awaken with bloodshot eyes and handed a 5 ft high performance short board This was a massive swell of the year, wave size was in the 12-14 ft range I had been surfing for only one year but with some liquid confidence from the night before decided to send it As we approach the break, i can hear what can only be described as bombs exploding, as building tall waves exploded on the shallow jagged reef The ground shook below my feet with each wave as I stood on the beach I paddled out and sat in the lineup with extreme unease I caught one small wave, ate it, got tumbled and held under and decided to wave the white flag I knew i was out of my skill level and decided it was not my day to drown I went back to the beach defeated and then proceeded to party the next 5 days straight and forget about catching waves But deep in me there was a strong desire to conquer that fear To get back out and ride one of those building sized bombs Maybe not that week, but i was determined I moved to San Diego after college and spent the last 10 years surfing Got experience with all types of conditions and sharpened my teeth by going out whenever it was big 10 years later i am in Costa Rica with a few homies There is a great massive swell, 8-12 ft sets exploding off a shallow reef I sat right behind the head local at the peak and respectfully let him take the first big set The second wave approaches, one of the biggest waves i've ever paddled for I took 4 strong paddles and found myself gliding down the face of this perfectly massive but clean face I pull into the pocket, set my line and catch one of the cleanest and best waves of my life and exit off the lip before it explodes on the reef Not once did i feel any fear or hesitation just pure confidence what was once extremely uncomfortable now just felt normal I draw many similarities between surfing and running affiliate campaigns we are riding waves, some big some small often times we try and fail and get tumbled but over time skill and judgement develops to know which campaigns to go for and which to pass on the blade gets sharper and sharper with every failure and repetition sometimes its pumping conditions for what seems like will last forever sometimes we cant find a wave no matter where we look but over time the uncomfortable uncertainty and volatility becomes the norm and when those massive campaigns with the perfect set of conditions come we can confidently attack and ride the monster waves through repetition and perseverance what was uncorcomfortable becomes comfortable keep paddling out and in due time you will get your waves 🏄‍♂️

i think one of the most important parts of grinding non stop is to remain true to your real identity schedule in time for things that make you feel like yourself again chasing digits non stop is a worth it and daily aggressive action toward your goal is needed for success... but you cant lose yourself you cant wake up 5 years later and be a stressed out jerk with no friends no relationships no idea who you even are anymore thats when it goes too far and i refuse to ever go to that extreme so find what makes you feel like you, for me its surfing or doing sht outside for others its playing with their kids or social life do that for a few hours a day and stay true to your real authentic self stay happy, stay motivated, having fun, just crushing it in all regards work hard af and focus but never lose track of your real authentic self to chase a bag
