Want to increase your bat speed and start driving the baseball with more authority? ⚾️💣 Bat speed isn’t developed by just swinging harder. It’s developed through intentional training, proper programming, and consistent execution. Here’s a look at Weeks 9–12 of a structured 12-week bat speed development program. At Hitters University, we believe every player should understand not just WHAT they’re doing, but WHY they’re doing it. Our goal isn’t simply to make you swing faster. It’s to help you develop a more explosive, efficient swing that translates to actual results in games. 🚨 NOW ACCEPTING REMOTE TRAINING CLIENTS! You don’t have to live near a Hitters University facility to train with us. Through our remote training program, players can receive: ✅ Individualized hitting development plans ✅ Structured weekly training programs ✅ Video swing analysis and coaching feedback ✅ Bat speed and swing development ✅ Direct communication with our coaching staff ✅ Accountability and measurable progress Whether you’re a youth player trying to build a foundation or a college player looking to take the next step, we’ll help you develop a plan based on YOUR needs. ⚾️ LET THE BALL TRAVEL! One of the biggest mistakes hitters make is trying to catch the ball too far out front. Great hitters understand how to let the baseball travel, stay behind it, and give themselves time to make quality decisions. When you rush to the baseball, you limit your adjustability, struggle with offspeed pitches, and make consistent hard contact much more difficult. Hitting isn’t about how quickly you can get to the baseball. It’s about getting there ON TIME. The longer you can see the baseball and still deliver your best swing, the more dangerous you become as a hitter. Stop rushing. Trust your swing. Let the ball travel. Good hitters hit pitches. Great hitters make adjustments. 🎓 WANT TO TAKE YOUR HITTING TO THE NEXT LEVEL? I’m now offering opportunities to work with me directly through 1-on-1 online coaching or join our Hitters University Online Academy, where you’ll get access to hitting drills, instructional videos, structured training programs, and the tools to develop your swing from anywhere. 📲 DM me “COACHING” to work with me one-on-one. 📲 DM me “ACADEMY” to learn how to join our online training community.

Cool managing. Pat Murphy has players clock in to remind them of work ethic and the "privilege of playing baseball."

Pat Murphy says becoming a father completely changed the way he coached, and now every player he views and coaches as somebody else’s son “It’s got to be real, man. You can’t just say it. You’ve got to live it. When it’s about your kid, when you’re raising kids by yourself, you’re clueless, man. You don’t know what you’re doing. I don’t know what I’m doing. I didn’t have that kind of, my parents were way older than me, so I don’t know how to parent. I don’t know what I’m doing, but it’s really important to me.” “And I started thinking about it like, every kid I coach is somebody’s Kai Joseph. You know what I mean? Every kid I coach, they have parents who love their kid the way I love my kid.” “Wow, I’ve got to be a little mindful how I treat these guys. I’ve got to be a little mindful about, like, it’s my job.” “This profession isn’t about the wins and losses. This profession is about, how do I impact this person?

The tide is turning back!!! College like players & ball players that play the game the right way are picking apart high swing & miss 3 outcome teams that don’t play defense. You WILL be able to win with low payroll & good scouting finding players right out of college that play the game hard & develop them within. You don’t need 9 All Stars to win. Brewers, Guardians, Rays are good for baseball.

If you think marriage is something you can just “drift apart” from, please don’t get married. You made vows. You had children. You built a family. Marriage isn’t about waking up every day feeling butterflies and now two little girls have to pay the price because their parents simply “drifted apart.” That’s heartbreaking.
My wife and I decided to get a divorce. There were no fights, just two adults who realised they drifted apart from each other. This is probably the hardest thing I had to go through. First of all, telling our girls...seeing them so sad was heartbreaking. But we are still a team as parents and will do everything for them! Also we have to sell our house, the house I wanted to live in forever and raise my kids in... Going back to a smaller appartment will be rough. I still have a lot of to handle, that's why I wasn't active here on X. I'm really grateful for all the people who reached out and asked where I was 🙏🏼 This women will always be a part of my life, she gifted me with two perfect daughters. I wish her all the best, great memories were made in those years! I'll be back soon. Thank you everyone 🙏🏼

🚨 YOUNG PLAYERS — STOP CHASING EXIT VELOCITY. START CHASING THE ABILITY TO HIT! ⚾️ Too many 14–17-year-olds are obsessed with hitting 100+ MPH on HitTrax and TrackMan. But your max-effort cage swing isn’t necessarily going to work against 95+ MPH with a scouting report. Go face Jacob Misiorowski with that swing and see what happens! STOP CHASING PEAKS. BUILD THE FOUNDATION THAT ALLOWS THEM TO HAPPEN NATURALLY. ⚾️ Proper swing mechanics ⚾️ Short, explosive, adjustable swings ⚾️ Consistent barrels through the middle with backspin ⚾️ Strength and conditioning ⚾️ Proper nutrition and recovery ⚾️ Consistent training with a knowledgeable coach Your bat speed, exit velocities, and physical abilities should develop naturally through proper training and TIME. NOT EVERYBODY WILL HIT 100+ MPH. AND THAT’S OKAY! Look at the Brewers, Guardians, and Rays. Not everyone produces elite exit velocities, but they have players who know how to WIN BASEBALL GAMES. Don’t get lost in the sauce listening to people selling numbers instead of developing complete hitters. The goal isn’t to win the HitTrax leaderboard. It’s to become a GREAT BASEBALL PLAYER. Train properly. Get stronger. Eat correctly. Trust the process. BECOME A BASEBALL PLAYER. NOT A CAGE ALL-STAR. 🔴⚫️ HITTERS UNIVERSITY #HittersUniversity #BaseballDevelopment #Hitting #YouthBaseball

🚨 YOUNG BASEBALL PLAYERS — STOP CHASING EXIT VELOCITY. START CHASING THE ABILITY TO HIT! ⚾️ There is a growing problem in baseball development where 14, 15, 16, and 17-year-olds are obsessed with hitting 100+ MPH on HitTrax and TrackMan. Here’s the reality: Your max-effort HitTrax swing isn’t necessarily going to work against 95+ MPH with a scouting report. Take that swing and go face Jacob Misiorowski. See what happens. I’m telling you this as somebody who has spent years playing and coaching professional baseball. STOP CHASING PEAKS. BUILD THE FOUNDATION THAT ALLOWS THOSE PEAKS TO HAPPEN NATURALLY. ⚾️ Proper mechanics and efficient swings ⚾️ Short, explosive, adjustable movements ⚾️ Consistent barrels through the middle with backspin ⚾️ Structured strength and conditioning ⚾️ Proper nutrition and recovery ⚾️ Consistent training with a knowledgeable coach Your bat speed, exit velocities, and physical abilities should develop organically through proper training and TIME. NOT EVERYBODY IS GOING TO HIT 100+ MPH. AND THAT’S OKAY! Look at the Brewers, Guardians, and Rays. Not everyone in those lineups produces elite exit velocities, but they have players who know how to PLAY BASEBALL and help their teams win. Don’t get lost in the sauce following people selling numbers instead of developing complete hitters. The goal isn’t to win the HitTrax leaderboard. THE GOAL IS TO WIN BASEBALL GAMES. Train properly. Get stronger. Eat correctly. Learn how to HIT. Give yourself TIME. BECOME A BASEBALL PLAYER. NOT A CAGE ALL-STAR.

'30 C Landen Davis (SC) crushed this fastball to the pull-side. Stadium just kept it in as it bounced off the base of the LF wall for an RBI double. #WWBAWorlds @PG_Coastal

Ozzie Albies coming up CLUTCH 💣 A few things to take away from this swing: ⚾️ START EARLY ⚾️ READY AT PITCH RELEASE ⚾️ BACK LEG LOADED ⚾️ HEAD & EYES UNDER CONTROL The best hitters don’t rush to hit velocity. They’re prepared early enough to recognize the pitch, stay under control, and EXPLODE through the baseball. When wheeler starts his wind up Ozzie starts his load. That allows him to get into a solid position to hit upper 90s. There are many components to the swing, stance, & set up that allow him to do this efficiently. Start early, be under control, keep your head & eyes still, be ready to swing, & deliver your best blow! @HittersUniv

Derek Blesie continues to improve & tick up with his velocity. Going to be a great player!
New PR today! Relief appearance topping out at 88 MPH, sitting 86–87. The work continues. Excited to keep building, competing, and chasing the next jump. @ArmoryFlorida @finsupbsbl @Coach_JayBee

The majority of people are either distracted and unable to focus or don’t care to put in the work. It’s amazing how much ground you can cover by locking in and just staying consistent over a long period of time without stopping.

You need to understand this... everything that's worth it is hard. It takes TIME. Everyone wants everything so damn fast that they cut corners on their lives. They leave great jobs cause they want a title promo too fast, they quit side hustles because they didn’t get enough followers or dollars in year one and yet it would have been great if they waited and had 2 more years of patience. Please my friends…. lean into patience and consistency & discipline.
