The real, actual accusation being made here that you are supposed to take seriously:
- The show’s premise — having a witch as a neighbor — was inspired by a real life anecdote of a neighbor’s child asking the creator if she was a witch
- The show includes a scene in which the main character’s adult neighbor is closeted and gets offered estrogen symbolically
KiwiFarms user “Wigger Nationalist” concludes that she must, therefore, be a pedophile grooming her real life neighbor’s child
Bunlith (animation with PS1-style art) faces grooming accusations after show's HRT scene was revealed by creator Lilith Walther to be based off real anecdote involving a neighbor's child. Lilith also had Bluesky likes of gore and 9/11 porn.

studio trigger why didnt you adopt trigun instead
'CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS 2' staff explained how the sequel draws inspiration from '90s anime
The character designs and art direction intentionally differ from Season 1, aiming for a '90s anime aesthetic that conveys a stronger sense of struggle for the characters
Ikarashi also designed Talia Yang with a late '90s look after president Masahiko Otsuka told him to design her however he liked most. They settled on a "feline" design with a braided, cat-like tail for her hair
For the soundtrack, Ikarashi chose Tsuneo Imahori (composer for TRIGUN) to capture a "late afternoon '90s vibe."

Oh my god my heart sank for a moment but wow I guess being told by a mom that her kid called you a witch which leads to you making a character who is a witch means that you groomed a kid somehow but that’s KiwiFarms for you

A trans woman makes an indie animation with slightly amateur writing and people start talking about how this makes being a trans person harder shut the actual fuck up

people today are so scared of being corny, when they see anything that's 'corny' in any way shape or form they harass them publicly to show how not corny they are.
