Ireland just released a report showing the huge success of the unconditional basic income it provided to artists. Each $1 spent led to society gaining $1.39. Artists' earned incomes went up more than their side job incomes fell. And they were happier and used less welfare.

The concerns about #UBI is that a basic income for one person may be insufficient for another, depending on circumstances and need. However, a rigorously designed/ implemented pilot should test that. Wales may become the pioneer for something big #UBIWales bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-poli…

The results from Germany's 3-year UBI experiment are out! 122 people got €1200/mo for 3 years. All were age 21-40 and employed with €1100-€2600/mo pay. They were happier, healthier, saved more, gave more, enjoyed more social time and DID NOT WORK LESS than the control group.
