>"Bordman" When I look up your last name in the Loyalist records, your ancestors weren't even mentioned. You are not even a Canadian, your opinion does not matter. (link in next post for the loyalist collection if you want to search some people up)
Gleeful antisocial behaviour targeted at a local business. I want criminals, scammers and illegals deported, but targeting the people responsible brings pushback. Much easier to bully a random Indian family and then when normal people don’t want to follow you into the abyss you can claim that you’re the only ones fighting for immigration reform. Soulless grifting cowards.

"They would not stand with us. Instead they chose to play the damsel's part, demanding a prince come and save the princess."
I'm not sure why so many presume that a Caesar or a Franco is coming to save us. Even if he were coming, he would still need armies of /our guys/ already working up the institutions, bureaucracies, branches of the military, and every level of local and state governments. But these people waiting for the dictator-savior don't want to do that work; they just want to be rescued, like damsels. You've either going to win with effort and patience, or you are going to lose badly. That's the situation before us after several decades of leftists marching through the institutions.

The irony of Parvini citing late-19th-century labour movements whose strikes forced elites to co-opt them with better conditions, then telling everyone to “do nothing.” Makes you think he and his cohort are the containment.

This whole "there is no core Canadian identity" is a false propaganda narrative designed to poison the well of Canadian nationalism
We should be counting the number of actual Canadians, which is probably somewhere around 22 to 25 million. As far as a unified national identity goes, I think our failure to develop one has been a hindrance to our sovereignty and posterity. For too many people, the very idea of a Canadian nation is just a loose collection of territories LARPing as their own countries. This was also contrary to the ambitions of Sir John A. Macdonald and the Fathers of Confederation. The Industrial Revolution and our growing mastery over the natural world made Canada possible in the first place. The railway connected the country, followed by the personal automobile and eventually passenger aviation. But it’s 2026, not 1866, and the world has grown considerably smaller. The major powers can now export their cultures directly into our homes, eroding our own cultural indigeneity, while mass immigration made possible by commercial aviation threatens our demographic continuity. Suddenly, India and China aren’t so far away. Even within Canada, travelling from Montréal to Toronto no longer takes four to six days by horse and carriage, assuming the weather cooperates. To a certain extent, this process has already happened through the consolidation of Canadian media and the dominance of national broadcasters like the CBC, CTV and Global, alongside Canadian films, television shows, cartoons and sports, particularly hockey. Two Canadians growing up on opposite ends of the country, one in Halifax and the other in Vancouver, can share the same cultural references, they share roughly one of the most recognizably homogenous accents in the world, recognize the same institutions and develop an understanding of themselves as belonging to the same nation. The internet has reduced genuine cultural differences and regionalisms further. It’s time to abandon the last pretences of provincialism and the parochial attitudes that have survived alongside it. The Québec City to Windsor corridor should finally develop into the national core it was always meant to be, much as London, Washington, Paris and Berlin became the political, economic and cultural centres of their respective countries. Our urban, industrialized and now managerial heartland should assert its natural primacy over the provincial, regional and parochial interests that have obstructed national unity for generations. With modern mass media, the internet, telecommunications, the prospect of high speed rail, and restoring east-west trade over north-south, we have every means available to consolidate a genuinely unified Canadian nation around its historic heartland, project it across the continent, and to the entire world. My instincts have always been to scale up and to centralize. I have never pretended to be anything other than what I am: a Montrealer, an Anglo-Quebecer, a Laurentian, a techno-optimist and a cosmopolitan.

It looks like Japanese lead fascism in Peru is back on the menu What a timeline to be living in!
Peru is about to get the Bukele treatment. This is the new Peruvian president, Keiko Sofía Fujimori Higuchi. The caption on the original video says “We announce the creation of the Unified Command to confront organized crime, an elite special force made up of the National Police and the Armed Forces. We are uniting capabilities, experience, and operational strength to act in a coordinated way against criminal organizations and restore security for all Peruvians.”

Notice how society's only become great when there's an aristocracy in charge of it that is great in the first place?
British aristocrats suffered a 20% death rate in World War I, shedding blood on a scale and at a rate not seen since the Wars of the Roses The British state repaid that sacrifice by confiscating their estates through ruinous death and income taxes, wiping away the upper class as a politically important force The wages of that are Britain's dismal present The centuries that saw it governed by a martial aristocracy saw it rise to the peak of Olympus as the mightiest, most prosperous, and most flourishing civilization The century that has seen it ruled by "democracy" has seen it go from a glorious empire to a wretched, poor little island that is increasingly full of Pakistanis and Africans

Academic agent must be the saltiest person I have ever come across in academia. He thinks that he should be granted special privileges and an inflated social status for summarizing and articulating elite theory to a modern audience. But when push comes to shove he is unable to actually implement the theory in a practical way. This is always been the Achilles heel of the Persian. They are book smart but in practice are always laughably incompetence.
.@HeterodoxCentre research fellow Neema Parvini (aka Academic Agent) ragequits his talk at @OxUniRFMSoc to protest my invitation. Fun fact: I was inspired to write "Why We Need to Talk about the Right's Stupidity Problem" by an interaction with Parvini.

The boomer right has this horrible habit of favourably reinterpreting the radical things the left champions. This allows the left to be even more radical without any significant consequences. The reason why the radical left is allowed to exist in its current form is because the conservatives have been too soft against them.
When someone tells you who they are, believe them.

His Shakespeare takes are also terrible
'Woke Academia Agent' Neema Parvini should've stuck to Shakespeare Studies. His whole presence as a 'political commentator' has been a joke since David Cole clowned him in TakiMag for wanting to bring back 'Satanic Panics', almost a decade ago. Neema's a useless conspiracy loony.

It's an incredible political story that a coup against KLF led to a majority government within a month for the conservatives in BC It's one of the wildest Canadian political stories. The era of Canadian politician successfully blaming Donald Trump for their chronic failures is over. I would expect to see them pivot away from it.

Conservatives are going to mostly ignore this or attempt to tone police it but really what it is, is the next generation of leftists wanting to go after conservatives with the same maliciousness that the Democrats did with Donald Trump They don't care about your Edmund Burke principles. They don't care about your fiscal conservatism. They want to win power so they can kill you. And if you don't stop them permanently they will eventually.

It's crazy how far Kevin Spacey has fallen
Kevin Spacey lost House of Cards and was ordered to pay its producers $31 million. Now he says he has $0 left. In the video below, Piers Morgan asks him how much money he really has. His home was being foreclosed. Morgan asked why. "Because I can't pay the bills that I owe." Was he facing bankruptcy? "Been a couple of times when I thought I was gonna file, but we've managed to sort of dodge it, at least as of today." Then Morgan asked: "How much money do you have?" "None." Most of it went to lawyers. "I still owe a lot of legal bills that I have not been able to pay." Morgan pushed: "Millions?" "Many millions, yes. The house itself is many millions." The biggest bill came from House of Cards. After the 2017 allegations, Netflix dropped him, and the show's producer, MRC, rewrote the final season without him. An arbitrator ordered Spacey to pay MRC about $31 million for breaching his contract. A court upheld it in 2022. His side: he was found not liable in a New York civil case in 2022 and cleared on all charges in London in 2023. He says he lost his career and his fortune over cases he won. The other side: MRC says it lost real money rebuilding a hit show around his exit, and the arbitrator agreed he broke the workplace rules in his contract. The math: 2 Oscars, 2 court wins, $31 million owed, $0 left. Winning in court didn't erase the bill. Asked what he'll do now, he raised his fists: "Get back on the horse." So is Spacey a man who won his cases and still lost everything, or someone paying for what he cost the show?

People want to always blame the bankers and billionaires but they forget the unaccountable government bureaucrats who constantly waste money and deliver extremely poor results
The right knows how to channel the legitimate rage of working class people. The problem is where they direct that rage. It’s not immigrants and trans kids making your life impossible. It’s the bankers and the billionaires with all the wealth and power. It’s time to put the blame where it actually belongs.
