This week's concussion workshops continue, this time in Palm Beach with the ATCs and ADs of @pbcsd at @WellingtonHSFL. Like Miami-Dade, we're providing the region's schools with the latest in concussion management protocols for the safety of youth athletes.

Congratulations to Jacob Griffin, UConcussion’s very first research fellow! Jacob was just accepted to UM Medical School, where he’ll begin in fall 2023, following his fellowship here. Thanks to him, a decade of our concussion surveillance data has been streamlined for research.

We are grateful to @MDCPS and @FinsOffTheField for supporting the Countywide Concussion Care program, now a decade strong. It is thanks to the enduring legacy of the late Jason Jenkins that this program continues, ensuring all public high school athletes get baseline tested.

Very sad and unexpected news. Jason Jenkins' leadership made @FinsOffTheField champions for a unified South Florida community; a catalyst working to "support real change." Our staff extend our deepest condolences.
Trailblazer. Champion. Kind. We are heartbroken to share that Dolphins SVP of Communications and Community Affairs Jason Jenkins has passed away.
Today, @pbcsd athletic trainers and directors received education about properly managing youth athlete concussions. This education is vital to ensuring our ADs and ATCs remain the first line of defense to keep youth athletes safe in high school sports. 💪
