Today's slate of college football games does not appear to match last week's schedule, but there are some interesting games. And after last week, who knows how these will play out. One thing's for sure, the Gators will benefit because they have the week off to heal up.
Much better game plan and player execution this week. After a really ugly 1st quarter the Gators took control in the 2nd half and made huge plays on defense to win the game.
Wow! The Gators looked dead down 17-3 with virtually no defense and limited offense. Then they got their act together and started playing like they did against Ole Miss. Baugh had holes to run through and Trammel Jones made key throws over again. Huge surprise win once again.
I expect to watch some good games this weekend. Ohio State @ Indiana and Notre Dame @ BYU are the top match ups, but there are quite a few good conference games too. It should be a fun Saturday.

It’s one thing to have a game get away from you on the road, but this time it was in the Swamp. The Gator defense made some good plays but couldn’t make any key 3rd down stops even when it was 3rd and 10+. The offense made a few nice plays but 3 turnovers killed momentum. Ugly!
There should be some great college football games this weekend. Hurricane Isaias may knock out power, but these are games that I think would be worth watching if you are able. For those of us hunkering down ahead of and after the storm, these should be fun.

Florida was dominated today. An even 10-10 game in the 2nd quarter quickly unraveled. Mizzou dominated both lines of scrimmage. The Gator running attack was stifled and the O-line couldn’t protect Philo once the offense was pass only. A young team was certainly humbled today.
Not as many blockbuster games as last week, but there are a number of important conference games today. Alabama & Mississippi State are both undefeated. Florida, Iowa, and Miami will also face major challenges to stay undefeated. Should be some exciting games in this lineup.

What a great win for the Gators. The offense was incredible. The defense had a difficult time stopping Trinidad Chambless but the sack fumble and the late interception gave the offense the opportunity to separate after Ole Miss made it a 3-point lead. 4-0 with a win over #4.
There are some exciting college football games today! No cupcakes games in this lineup of games. Put new batteries in your TV remote. Set your DVR. Get to the gates early if you have tickets.
Trinidad Chambliss was clutch. Sam Levitt made it a great game but missed opportunities when the pressure was on. Fantastic game with so much emotion. Both teams played well but Ole Miss made the key plays to win. Who knows, these two teams could meet again in the playoffs.
The Gators played well on their 1st road trip. The offense was very efficient and took over the game in the 2nd half. The defense had 7 sacks but gave up a lot of big plays. It was a huge win for Coach Sumrall for his 1st SEC win. The defense will have to play better next week.
There are some pretty exciting college football games this weekend. Yes there are still quite a few cupcake games, but these should be fun to watch. After a busy week, we can all enjoy these games of note.

There are some exciting football matchups this weekend. Of course, the Ohio State @ Texas has everyone's attention, but Arizona State @ TX A&M could be exciting, as well as the Alabama @ Kentucky. At least they are not all cupcakes like last week.
