#LongCovidAwarenessDay after having Covid 10/2020 I now have Long Covid with over 2 million other people in the UK alone. I suppose I am one of the lucky ones. Personally #LongCovid robbed me of my mobility & sometimes my memory☹️More research needed. I want to live to see a cure

Camilla attack forces U-turn on Roald Dahl censorship. Bravo Camilla, l am not exactly her biggest fan but thank goodness, she is making the Publishers see sense. What on earth will be next in this idiotic #WokeCulture they be asking for The Bible to be changed? Heaven Forbid!!

10 days ago I sent Chancellor @Jeremy_Hunt a letter (below) asking him to postpone the govt's 20% increase in energy bills on 1 April. Since, SEVENTY major charities (below), & the energy industry trade body have signed up to support the letter. IF YOU SUPPORT THE CALL PLS RT

#martinlewis@itvMLshow back in 1990, I was persuaded by an Insurance man to put my Bank & NHS pension into a private pension. Which I later transferred to a NHS Pension but feel l was given bad advice. Is there anything I can do now?

I am not a front line worker, but know several #LongCovid sufferers who did work for the NHS & Teaching profession as well as others, who have lost their jobs. I think this will be a hard watch for those still suffering 😕

Realisation hits you when due to #LongCovid you can't wander round the shops with your Grandaughter like you used to shopping for clothes & enjoying fun times together. Not the same trying to get round in a wheelchair!

And yet still people wonder why there are shortages in certain jobs such as Teachers or NHS or other Frontline staff. Wake up!! Many are out of work due to them living with the Nightmare that is #LongCovid many without any financial help either!
The latest ONS figures on #LongCovid in the UK are just out: - 2.1 million people in the UK with Long Covid - 1.6 million (76%) of those report that their lives are adversely affected - 645k (30%) had Covid-19 at least 2 years previously #TreatLongCovid ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationa…

#NHSinCrisis I can understand our hospitals & walk in centres being in Crisis, when people in our area cannot get a Dr's appointment. Surgeries that have been operating under the same rules as during Covid!! No wonder hospitals are under siege when people are desperately ill 😡

I Love this, all those living with #LongCovid should think about this...

Create a Compensation & Pension Scheme for Key Workers with #LongCovid - Sign the Petition! chng.it/YY6dy6Dt via @UKChange
Absolutely shocking!! #LongCovid takes everything away especially from those that were #frontline workers, teachers, NHS staff, Firemen/women & many others who worked throughout the Pandemic. Plus others, all of whom find themselves ghosted by people who should be helping them!
Dismissed on grounds of ill health. Long Covid takes everything. Nursing career - Game over.

I can totally relate to this tweet. Since Covid I have far more in common with my 80+ yr old neighbours, than our friends. Thx to #LongCovid my husband and I can't even fight off a bad cough n cold without feeling like we're dying!!
realizing more and more that #LongCovid feels like aging at hyper-speed. cognitive issues, slow healing, hair loss, vascular diseases.. my 70 year old parents are in better shape than me! i now appear to have lost close to an inch (2.5cm) in height. that's probably not good 😳

Love this tweet 🥰 Often think of the things I wish I had done! Life is for Living, make sure you do while you can. #LongCovid kills normal life.
If I ever get well, I shall go down to the sea in the middle of the night and paddle in the waves. I shall do all the things I should have done but didn’t.

Such a good article about close ones learning more about #LongCovid, definitely needs sharing. theconversation.com/four-way…
Such a massive loss, so sad 😥
BREAKING: Harry Potter and Cracker actor Robbie Coltrane has died aged 72, his agent has said.
As a #LongCovid sufferer for 2 years, I have been saying for all that time that #LongCovid must be having an effect on general services especially as there are many NHS & Teaching staff affected 😕
