We are so proud of Poppy-Mae who got a merit in her LAMDA exam with Little Voices Swindon - what a fantastic achievement! She had to perform a poem and a drama activity with the examiner. She has shown great commitment to her singing and drama lessons! You are #shiningbrightly!🤩

Our marvellous KS1 and KS2 Role Models of the (last two!) Weeks! #shiningbrightly😁

EYFS finished exploring their big question, "How is the world changing?" by inviting grandparents in to talk about when they were little. From looking at old money to seeing how people made their own dresses, we were surrounded by living history and wonderful memories! 🤩

💩 Thank you to @purtonvets who have put up signs on the path into school, reminding dog owners to scoop the poop! We have had a problem recently with inconsiderate dog walkers not clearing up on this busy route into school for our families. Please share on local social media!💩

EYFS had a wonderful time visiting Purton library this morning. We listened to The Detective Dog by Julia Donaldson and explored all of the books we will be able to withdraw using our new library cards. #shiningbrightly

Do you to have to have special powers to be a hero? EYFS are exploring their new big question: here's a nurse hero ("...a nurse helped my Daddy get better,") and a farmer hero ("...they work day and night to give us food,") who believe helping others is a special power!🤩
