Louisville survives Syracuse and it wasn’t particularly pretty. Plus looking ahead to the bye week!

Louisville’s Obinna Ekezie Jr looked fantastic coming off the bench at Kansas
Obinna had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks and went 4-6 from 3, playing just 19 minutes
The 7-2, 240 freshman from Nigeria stood out defensively, was all over the place defensively, running the floor, contesting shots and using his freakish 7-5 wingspan
The 18-year old had reclassed up to the 2026 class after a strong season at Southeastern Prep, immediately showcasing his NBA upside for the Cardinals.

Louisville reclass freshman Obinna Ekezie Jr. was terrific in the exhibition win at Kansas:
16 PTS (4-6 3P)
8 REB
5 BLK
19 MINS
Impressive showing from the 7-foot-2, 18-year-old.

NEWS: 5⭐️ Obinna Ekezie Jr. has committed to Louisville and will reclassify to 2026 to play for the Cardinals this upcoming season, he tells @Rivals.
The 7-foot center was the No. 2 overall player in the 2027 class and the No. 1-ranked center.

Regardless of the outcome - this game, atmosphere and just overall effort from both teams is insane for an exhibition game
Typical bum KU fans
WATCH: The KU student section greeted Flory Bidguna with an "F-You Flory" chant. Bill Self was NOT happy.
"My apologies," Self said to Louisville head coach Pat Kesley.
Self and Bidunga embraced moment later. @WIBWsports
