By working alongside government and local partners, UNFPA continues to help ensure that sexual and reproductive health services remain accessible to women, girls, and vulnerable populations during emergencies, advancing their health, rights, and dignity as communities recover.

By turning real-life challenges into opportunities for reflection and collective problem-solving, social theater offers a creative way to encourage meaningful engagement, strengthen accountability, and promote safer environments for everyone.

Partners also highlighted the need for sustained investments in gender-responsive programmes, stronger humanitarian preparedness, and continued prioritization of the health, safety, and protection of women and children amid BARMM’s political transition.

At the summit, @unfpaph is also creating opportunities for young people to engage with its work through the UNFPA Youth Network—for young people to join and share their perspectives and serve as a sounding board to ensure initiatives reflect their needs and aspirations.
