As global challenges mount and resources shrink, effective and impactful multilateral cooperation is needed more than ever.
Excellent interactions with Denmark’s Foreign Minister @larsloekke and fellow members of the @UNCityCPH leadership team to mark this week’s 🇺🇳 Day.
With colleagues from across the UN, a powerful moment to reflect on our shared commitment to the UN Charter, and what’s needed to deliver tangible results for the people we serve, and the planet we all call home.
The innovation, technical expertise and cooperation in Copenhagen and the broader Nordic region can be an inspiration and a great resource, as the UN works to be more agile and efficient, to meet the mega challenges the world is facing.

Alongside our partners @EUinthePH & @AECID_es, @UNOPS teams did the design and construction of this facility, which will help strengthen local institutional capacity for peacebuilding, conflict resolution and much needed reconciliation, across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Mindanao.
The facility creates a safe space for communities in support of sustaining long lasting peace🕊️

#Mozambique is on an ambitious path to deliver millions of off-grid energy connections, and connect people across the country with the electricity they need to thrive.
This national vision for electrification is crucial to accelerating sustainable development – supporting health, education, food security and community development.
It was great to join President Daniel Chapo at #UNGA81 earlier this week, along with @SEforALLorg and partners, to discuss the need for strong investment in the clean energy transition to translate ambition into delivery.
