ALT Created on Procreate. I've been reading (and getting into) some Greek fiction books and mostly they're about the Trojan War and I stumbled upon a character called Kassandra, a royal princess of Troy. And I instantly loved how the books portrayed her as this one person who remained resilient and hard against her captors. She's known for her unbending will, her hard-headedness and she didn't bow to the king who burned her city down even when she was kicked around and forced to. She is a symbol of the curse, and her ability to predict the future was the only thing that would've kept the city untouched had she been listened and paid attention to and t the ruinous fall of Troy could've been prevented all along. Her anger and madness after the war were justified but her oath to slay the king who burned her city down was unfortunately unfulfilled when they were both taken out by the king's wife and her consort themselves as soon as they returned to the king's homeland.
