Another example of accommodation providers clearly exploiting students, this is happening all across the country.
We should be receiving rebates, not additional fees, how is this ok?

The only acceptable policy is full rent rebates until students are able to return to home.
@UofGlasgow this is wrong on so many levels. Get it fixed or students will take action.

This is what the University promised in January - a rent rebate UNTIL students return to accommodation.

This is a great step from Salford and one every university should be taking with the government providing assistance to those unis that can’t afford it.

Don’t come back to uni, but pay your rent!
Don’t go outside, but come to the library!
ScotGov know unis and students need support, but it will risk public health rather than take measures which will oblige it to make that support concrete.
❌ indoors Click and Collect
❌ jumping in for a coffee
✔ sitting in your uni library for eight hours a day with hundreds of strangers
Brb just screaming into the void.
