Vote NO: Justice Jill Pohlman on the Utah Supreme Court In 2020, the Utah Legislature passed SB 174, a “trigger law” that would take effect when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. In June 2022, Roe v. Wade was overturned, and abortion became illegal in Utah, but only for three days. The Planned Parenthood Association of Utah sued the state, and Judge Andrew Stone issued a temporary injunction blocking the law. That injunction has now been in place for over four years while the state has worked to have the injunction lifted, and in that time more than 16,000 babies have died by abortion. When the case reached the Utah Supreme Court, the Justices, including Jill Pohlman, voted to uphold the injunction, and babies continued to die.

JUDGE POHLMAN AGREED WITH PLANNED PARENTHOOD •Planned Parenthood argued that SB 174 violates the Utah Constitution. •Planned Parenthood said the law would cause irreparable harm to the organization, its patients, and its staff; in other words, Planned Parenthood would no longer be able to make money by ending the lives of unborn babies. •Utah’s state attorneys responded that SB 174 is constitutional. •The state argued that an injunction would undermine its strong public interest in enforcing valid laws and in protecting human life. •The state said that they have an interest rooted in a moral conviction about the worth of every child. The Court ruled that the injunction served the public interest because it would “maintain the status quo.” The status quo means babies continue to die every day. Justice Pohlman voted for the status quo.   Please vote NO on Justice Jill Pohlman

She should have been impeached. Vote No! Judge Pohlman has a history of activist rulings that ignore the Constitution and substitute judicial preferences for the will of the people and their elected representatives.

Love this. A Utah mother discovered that her coworker was the son she had placed for adoption 20 years earlier. At 15, Holly Shearer became unexpectedly pregnant and chose adoption, giving her son Benjamin the chance to grow up surrounded by love. Two decades later, she discovered they were working at the same hospital, and they reunited. One brave decision gave a child a future and, years later, brought a mother and son back together.

For years now, some hospitals and healthcare providers have been subjecting children to horrific, experimental treatments in service of radical gender ideologies. Today, thanks to the Wolves in White Coats report released by @HHSGov, we know why: profit. It turns out that convincing vulnerable children to reject their gender can create patients for life, earning hospitals tens of thousands of dollars in additional revenue per child. The report contains deeply disturbing allegations, and I encourage every American and every parent, to read it. More than just pushing these procedures on kids, hospitals and providers may have been defrauding Medicaid and private insurers by using misleading or fraudulent billing codes to get insurance to cover the costs.

Motherhood is one of God’s greatest callings. Mothers are the foundation of strong families and the guiding force behind the values that shape future generations. Their influence reaches far beyond the walls of the home and helps preserve faith, freedom, and the principles that make our communities strong. President Ronald Reagan once said, “The family has always been the cornerstone of American society. Our families nurture, preserve, and pass on to each succeeding generation the values we share and cherish.” From all of us at Utah Eagle Forum, Happy Mother’s Day!

We join families across Utah and the nation in mourning the passing of Alan Osmond at age 76. As the eldest of The Osmonds, Alan built a legendary career rooted in faith, family, and service. A proud conservative who loved God, family, and country, he founded the Stadium of Fire, helped create Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and established the One Heart Foundation for orphans. Even after MS ended his performing days, he kept serving others. Surrounded by his wife and eight sons, he leaves a legacy of leadership and love. Prayers with the Osmond family.

Enforcing the Talking Filibuster isn’t “nuking” the filibuster It involves making senators speak—not sleep—to filibuster Consistent with Senate rules It can be hard work, but sometimes that’s necessary—and passing the SAVE America Act is worth the effort Share if you agree

Please Join Us This Sunday in Prayer and Fasting for Utah’s Unborn Babies 🙏🏼 Share and invite your family and friends. For more than 3½ years, Utah’s abortion law has been delayed in the courts. During that time, over 10,000 unborn babies have lost their lives. @prolifeutah

I am horrified. I cannot believe it. I analyzed public databases and media reporting on violent confrontations with ICE over the past year. Just 9 counties accounted for TWO-THIRDS of violent confrontations with ICE in America. This is twice all violent confrontations in the remaining 3,134 counties COMBINED. A violent confrontation in these 9 counties was 590 TIMES more likely than any of these other 3,134 counties. 590 times. I plotted these 9 counties, and I found that all 9 counties are sanctuary jurisdictions run by Democrat politicians that resist immigration law enforcement. These violent confrontations are RARE in states and cities where local officials cooperate with law enforcement.
