ALT It was a rather overwhelming decision, but everything I was doing solidified for me that the UToledo Health Education Program was truly the best fit... I felt I had an opportunity to develop my knowledge of health policy to be able to better advocate for legislation that supports the rare disease community.

The background features a blurry photo of the same wooden steps blown up larger with a blue overlay. The University of Toledo golden logo tag is also present in the lower left corner.

ALT The University of Toledo is a community that celebrates and respects people of all backgrounds and experiences. As an institution, we remain committed to building an inclusive environment free of racism, sexism, bigotry and other negative influences. The events of the past week have brought to light the critical role higher education can and must play in facilitating open and honest discussions that empower us as a community and a nation to translate our ideals into actionable change. As such, UToledo will be hosting a virtual roundtable on Thursday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m. It is through this open dialogue that we can more forward, together, and breathe. Access information will be released next week.
