The heart runs on a 24-hour clock. New research in @APS_Function suggests #Type1Diabetes can disrupt its daily rhythms differently in the right and left ventricles—possibly adding to cardiovascular risk: ow.ly/VVLb50ZThRG #ArticlesInPress #APSselect 📷: @iStock

Without a significant increase in NIH funding to those of us studying women’s health issues vs just adding SABV requirements to each grant, I am skeptical we will notice any change. Women are not biological variables, we have specific diseases that progress differently #menopause

Only 4% of the US NIH research budget funds women's health. <1% of that supports❤️research, despite cardiovascular disease being the leading cause of death for women. Close the knowledge gap & support women's health research. femtechnology.org/ @FemtechnologyS
