I was the Justin Herbert vote. The guy had the worst offensive line in the NFL all season and despite that he was working miracles in almost every single game. Stafford’s OL became 2/5ths as bad as Herbert’s for 5 minutes and he became a turnover howitzer. He embodied ‘value.’ MVP is the single hardest award to correctly determine because the focus is on value, which is basically impossible to objectively evaluate with so many dependencies. The idea that one vote altered a guy’s legacy is stupid. More people than not thought each candidate did not deserve to win MVP this year according to the votes. There was not one clear MVP who was robbed of the award. Most people were torn between two deserving candidates. I thought a third deserved it as well because the value he brought to his situation was immense. Yeah, it’s actively not just the best player, though, and that’s the issue. Like it or not—and I don’t like it—value is an intrinsic part of the award. It is the focus of the award, and there is no consensus definition or quantification of that. For the people that don’t know, the nominees were just the top 5 vote- getters after the votes were counted. They didn’t send a list of 5 nominees and I chose from outside that list. I’m not missing that it’s historically stats-driven, but when they overhauled the panel of voters I believe they did so to give new viewpoints a voice, not just to repeat people following stats to whatever conclusion.

The average tweet is 0.94 inches tall. 20 accounts x 14 tweets each = 280. The total length of the scrolled tweets are 7.3 yards which is longer than Bo Nix’s average throw (6.24 yards).
I’ve seen like 20 patriots accounts tweet about Bo Nix 14 times each. Absolute weirdo behavior.
