David Raya has won three consecutive Premier League Golden Gloves, and he's already on 5 clean sheets this season as he chases an unprecedented fourth in a row.
For context:
🧤 Petr Čech: 202 clean sheets in 443 appearances (4 Golden Gloves).
🧤 Joe Hart: 127 clean sheets in 340 appearances (4 Golden Gloves).
🧤 David Raya: 5 clean sheets already this season, following 19 last season (3 Golden Gloves).
But it's not just about clean sheets. His reflexes, shot-stopping, distribution, passing ability and composure under pressure are what make him special.
Personally, I believe Raya has qualities that put him ahead of both Čech and Hart.
If he wins that fourth consecutive Golden Glove, I believe the next conversation should be whether David Raya is the greatest goalkeeper in Premier League history.
